  • During testing I was surprised by the differences. Again, my testing was done on dry MTB trails. If you are looking to just go out and ride either one is great. It really comes down to what your MTB trail condition is.
This video I go into advantages of both and disadvantages of both.
When I first started the test I was on the rough MTB trail and the results was clear…. MTB trails without zero second thought - suspension!
The second part of the test was on smooth MTB trails and I couldn’t believe it! In my head I just assumed that the suspension would be go to. After one lap I was just blown away. The Trek Farley with the carbon fork rocked! It was light, quick, and responded amazingly. It was like I went from the 250 class to the 500. My acceleration, speed, and handling reset everything I was thinking.

Must have found the happy middle ground with my Wren fork on my 2018 Mukluk…. Keep the Schwalbe Jumbo Jims at 9 PSI so i am not getting battered around with higher PSIs (especially in the tail) and I haven’t noticed any self steer or squirm …. Good to be back out on the trails for sure 👍

I totally agree it’s great to be back on the trails!
That’s the key, finding the psi and ride for you :)
The higher the psi the faster the roll.. but there is consistency……
RIDEFAT and have a great weekend
