This video has some hull flying and flip as well as getting into the trees. The wind was gusting to 20 and unstable coming from different directions. - Спорт
Fantastic job at solo righting! Nice!
Awesome video nice righting.
Very nice. We have all had similar issues. You handled each like a pro. I have an oar tucked in the laces for "shifty/dirty" wind (when I'm solo). That's as good a job as I've seen solo righting (taking the sheets loose is paramount. Watching your tell tales reminds me of the lack of clean wind everywhere I sail. Imagine what heroes we would feel like on a body of water with wind that blew from one direction for 30 minutes. 😂
The only thing better than sailing is teaching someone else to sail.
I relate to this! I did most of my sailing in Colorado and now starting to sail inland Texas. Whenever I visited family in San Diego I rented a getaway on the bay, and it really was a night and day difference!
It looks like it was the jib being cleated that pushed you over the top.
She came up quick dude 👍
Yeah but it flips quick too.
@@AlvinShepherd looks like a gust got ya
@@jcowboy123 When I turned around i tightened the main before getting my butt on the rail. Mostly that helps to keep me moving without stalling. But this time it came back to bite.
