I got back to the future on the ps3 a few years back for £8 so very lucky but also got deadpool for £10, monkey island collection for £18 and splatterhouse for £8 Also on ps3 in the last 2 years as very rarely saw them on CeX shelves. I’m very lucky not only as they gone up in price but yes they are amazing games. I honestly agree that collectors should get as much as they can now as I am always looking for ps2 and ps3 titles I’ve never heard of as I really think physical games will become a thing of the past in the next few years and places like CeX will unfortunately die. Whatever happens collecting is something to enjoy and a hidden gem isn’t just a game that increases in price but is when you buy a game that you have never heard of and just really enjoy, the plus is when it goes up in price. I could never part with any of my games and am leaving my collection to my son who loves games. Great video and cheers OG👍👍
Hi matey... Thanks for the comment and couldn't agree more matey... Having the physical games just makes it for me like yourself 😉🍺 You got some amazing games at great prices as you know some of those titles going through the roof now !!!! So you did well my friend 😉🍺
Nice pick ups OG I'm intrigued by the evercade, I like the look of the little arcade machine that they are putting out that takes the carts. The games would look nice on the shelf being numbered and all that. Amazing Spiderman is ok, a solid 7/10 game. I picked up Back to the Future on the 360 around 8 months ago. For £22 I think. It's now £50 and out of stock!
Cheers Mike… Yes the Evercade collecting could be a things as achievable as can get them as they come out… You did well on BTTF matey and none available at the moment ! Hopefully PS3 goes same way 😀
Good vlog as always OG ... Kingsley adventures not seen that one before, price obviously means it's uncommon, spiderman games are good titles m8 and they seem to hold tge price too 😊 Fallout new vegas spotted on that shelf love that game and I played it to death. The Zelda promo game for the game cube is quite common on the bay but not seen it in CEX, another quiz title for the Wii haha thats the way to go m8 😊 Didn't know back to the future was on the PS3 so it could well go over everyones head and go up in price, looking to the next one OG great stuff 😊
Cheers matey.... You know me matey... Do enjoy a dodgy quiz game for sure..... BTTF will be an interesting title to keep an eye upon and looking forward to giving it a play... As for the Spiderman games, always seem to be increasing in value and hold their price nicely 😉
Great vlog OG. Enjoyed watching your previous vlogs over the weekend, new subscriber and first time commenter. Agree about the PS3 btw, love collecting for the console. CEX trip next Wednesday planned for me, rude not to! Cheers for the content.
Hi matey and thanks for the comment... Really appreciate it and hopefully you had some decent finds in your CEX visit on Wednesday?!? Collecting for the PS3... It would be rude not too 😉
@OGDuffy Not too bad finds! Managed to grab a copy of Darksiders, Darksiders 2, FEAR, Heavenly Sword, COD Black Ops 2, and Family Guy - Back to the Multiverse. Not a bad trip if I do say so myself!
Hi. First time commenting. Really enjoy watching your videos and following your pick ups. I collect PS3 and is my console of choice for playing, my favourite games are all the COD games ( I know, but I do like them ) plus I like horror titles. Think you are right about prices starting to rise but some are so cheap it’s brilliant at moment. Think that’s a good pick up BTTF. Looking forward to next video, all the best.
Hi matey and a massive thanks for commenting !!! Appreciate you taking the time to do so buddy 😉 Yep cannot go wrong with collecting for the PS3... Such a great system and so many amazing games at a really good price still !!!!!
I had that Zelda collection back in the day. Nintendo included them with GameCube consoles for a while. Tbh I thought it'd be worth more than that as I thought they were fairly rare. Wise call to pass it up I think.
King Kong: personally I highly recommend the 1976 version of King Kong, especially John Barry's score, otherwise I really enjoyed that version of the movie, too.
Back to the future was like a telltale style episodic game. So started out just digitally with many episodes. Then was put into a collection for a physical release. So yeah could be a good one to grab as I don't think they made so many
Next year is the 40th anniversary of when the Back to The Future film was released, so could go up a bit next year. Also when iconic film stars pass away - that can hike up demand/prices of their best films etc. So yes, that particular one could go up when Michael J Fox passes (he has health issues). Plus as you said, you don’t see it often in general.
Well done OG. Didn't see much I'm wanting for in there Wet and X Files on PS2 are on my wishlist and that's about it. King Kong I've got and it's very highly rated and same for Alpha Protocol. Back to the Future is a great pick up. Don't think it got ground breaking reviews but as you say being Back to the Future you can't really go wrong. I think it's actually shot right up in price recently and as you pointed out its not one you see around much. That PS1 game £105.00 from the start of the video is one I don't know about but I agree it does look like it would be worth playing. The quiz games are not really for me. I do like a good pub quiz and a bit of general knowledge but I've never really gravitated towards any on console. Don't really have the visitors to get to play them might be part of it . Great to see another successful game hunt and cool video. 👍💯😎
Cheers matey and thanks for the great comment... Yep that PS1 game was anew one on me too.... As for BttF will keep an eye on it and see how it goes but either way looking forward to giving it a play for sure... As for the quiz games I love em buddy... Can understand that they not for everyone though 😉😀
@@OGDuffy Top man OG. I think we will definitely bump into each other out and about one day. We are hunting in the same places and I live in Costa Del Medway. If I see you I'll be sure to say hello. Maybe grab a pint together because it would be rude not to!!! All the best mate!!! 🙏💯❤️👍😎
King Kong on Ps2 was the first game I ever finished completely. Got really upset when it finished as it was soo good! Film is good too, but the game is very good!
Oh, nice - always remember Alpha Protocol getting good reviews. Maybe it's due a re-release. 🤞 That Kong game sticks in my head for being one of the easier games to get the full 1000 Achievement Points.
That Kingsley was actually traded in by me. Small world :) I loved it but I have it installed on my polymega so thought I would get some voucher money together.
Lol I remember the Chewits advert! Was one of my Favs as a kid 🤣 Deffo recommend the Evercade, I have a complete collection even tho I have a lot of the games on other emulators but it’s a really nice system to collect for and they play well. Think of the reason why you are collecting the WiiU and it’s a similar reason to collect for the Evercade as it’s a relatively small library and a fairly cheap and easy system to still be able to get a complete collection for, every Cart is fully licensed and they come with a Manual as well. I also highly recommend The Evil Within, absolutely brilliant game. Back to the Future is also a fantastic game and kind of acts as a 4th instalment to the original trilogy, it even has MJF doing a cameo in it but the guy that voices Marty sounds a lot like MJF anyway but Christopher Lloyd reprises his role as Dr Emmet Brown. I have the PS3 and PS4 versions and they have both gone up in price a lot since I bought them (I got the PS3 version for £15 last year) so agree they could be future grails for some people.
Yes matey the Chewits ad was a classic matey… Glad to hear you got BTTF cheap matey and doubled in price in that time … could be one to watch… Time will tell 😎 Evercade looks interesting and as you say a doable collection as it stands 😉
The Back to the Future game is a great point and click adventure, I have it on the PC (it was originally released in separate chapters). Worth a play, but I can't see it going up much in price :)
I played that Tell Tale black to the future game years ago it the one that put Tell Tail on the map they did two Walking Dead games a Batman one and there Borderlands one was the pinicul you really wanna get that one if you can
Hi matey, thanks for the feedback might look to get the other Tell Tale games... Got a few already including Game of Thrones so will have to give them a spin soon 😉
Just checked the back to future game price in cex here in oz land. The price is about the same as uk, except the ps4 version which is 3 times the price of the ps3! So maybe the ps4 version is the one to look out for.
