Your first opponent was dead wrong. That is not a fire team, there aren't even any fire TYPES. You should use a team with 6 fire starters and show us all what a real fire team looks like.
A super-effective coverage move dealing 22% against a poison-type wall reminds me of a certain Greatest Battle Ever Thrown As you can see, the Agency is up 5-1...
Battle Bond greninja is wild. You get so much off of the boosts. Granted there are still some things that resists the moves it Carrie’s but the mon is a threat!
Honestly beating it is 100% just making it incredibly hard for it to get boosted. If you let it get a boost for free, like with a lead donphan, it's going to leave a huge hole in your team before you can beat it. Or just run specs keldeo with vacuum wave. That's honestly incredibly satisfying since even protect won't let it handle that well
i've never found this thing balanced, i was able to build one team that beat this and did get a good ladder placement with it[1640, my highest ever in any uu tier], but it was a defensive oriented sand team with spikes quag and mandibuzz+ lokix[that's four things to beat this thing], the strategy was literally hope that it gets chipped down quickly or that it doesn't have kix counterplay most standard teams just lose to either battle bond LO or specs protean, can't think of a single mon that checks all of its variants [and all of their moves] can stick around, besides fezandipiti tink can tank hits but it gets work down easily over time [struggles agains water moves in particular] kix[the tier's most comon offensive counterplay to everything] is beaten by protect [on LO teams] AV torn takes a good chunk from specs icebeam after rocks [gren pressures most spinners] it can run specs sludge wave for the nonexistent AV azumarill it's genuinely baffling how this thing is still in the tier, genuinely feels scarier than some of the banned stuff like ceruledge
TBH I disagree. Against Battle Bond, an unboosted one is weak enough that you can usually switch around a bit to kill it after getting some chip. Specs is a lot harder to manage just because of the raw power and how good full power coverage is, but it rarely has something that can lock into for free, which leaves it extremely prediction reliant compared to some other breakers in the tier. I could see it getting banned at some point, but generally I agree with other people I've talked to who feel that it is less banworthy now then ever before (mainly because people have gotten better at dealing with it, and some of the other bands have made it easier to have better defensive cores that can deal with it more reliably). I think a big thing to keep in mind is that it is very reliant on either being boosted or hitting super effectively, since gren's raw power isn't really that amazing on its own. So a lot of the time beating it is less about having something that can always switch into it, and more about getting a bulky mon in on the wrong move and relying on the fact that it generally isn't ohkoing them). It's also just so frail that it's very hard for it to get in without aggressive play, so as long as you aren't locking yourself into psychic attacks or something, you're going to be able to Chip it down to within priority range.
@@auroraourania7161 i didn't say that battle bond itself was broken, my issue was its variety and its ability to bluff one and fit both on similar teams i do agree with the fact that it is hard to get it in, and thus limiting its entry points is always a good option but i don't think that is enough to say tyhat such a mon that can have two different sets, both being dangerous[but individually not entirely broken] is balanced in the same vein , i do think that "getting a bulky mon in on the wrong move and relying on the fact that it generally isn't ohkoing " isn't reliable enough and the prediction games it forces do feel unhealthy
i know i exaggerate the brokeness of greninja but it genuinely feels like it's a tera away from being stupid or a prediction away from being stupid. if you find hoopa-u broken, you should find gren broken.

speaking of which, valiant performance against the Pex at the end

its basically a special dragon dance on ko
oh hi i was your opponent in the first game :) good game! love gren i think he's the best mon in the tier tbh
Rabia dude I literally didn't notice the OBS stream issues, don't even mention it, be the wizard of Oz

tink can tank hits but it gets work down easily over time [struggles agains water moves in particular]
kix[the tier's most comon offensive counterplay to everything] is beaten by protect [on LO teams]
AV torn takes a good chunk from specs icebeam after rocks [gren pressures most spinners]
it can run specs sludge wave for the nonexistent AV azumarill
