I have a very sincere question and I hope you don't find it intrusive, but how does a card shop make money considering rent for the shop, taking flights, hotels, having stuff sit around, and buying cards at around 70% (my guess). Is there something I'm missing? I'm only asking because I dream of starting a shop but I also stress about all of this lol.
It's called tax write offs he can write off all the expenses. Plus they sell cards on what not and plus he does mystery bags sometime that starts off at 250.00 a piece and has 100 spots so on a average night of mystery bags he is making close to 25k if all the bags go for 250.00 hopefully this answers your questions

When do you psa your cards you buy? If it is a card over 100 dollars to make, say, $100 dollars more if you psa it or just keep it raw. Like some cards are worth more raw than psa? I get that you have to look at the card, but also, if it has a little romper dimple on it, can that be cleaned and fixed

Just get a job instead. Running a business is beyond stressful and running a card shop would be twice as bad
