Hi Callum. Thanks for the tour, I'm interested in more of the charring process and in particular if a gas burner is used or if it's done with a wood fuelled fire. Cheers
@@IsleofRaasayDistillery Do you have a distributor for Israel, especially of your Bourbon casks? I have comments about your form Mr Duff et al, sounds like some very holy water you are making
Great explanation, Calum. ❤ from India. Would love to know how different type of woods create different flavors. e.g. what are the different tasting and smelling notes of a malt matured in sherry cask vs oloroso cask? Thanks again for a great video. 👍
Single malt means it will be a single years whisky, might even come from a single barrel. Blend whisky can include many years, this is the cheaper variety
Age statements of 10, 12, and even older appear to be fairly common in the Scotch world when compared to Bourbons. Does the milder climate of Scotland allow for more Whisky to survive the maturation time than spirits produced in warmer climates?
Thanks Callum, great concise explanation “nicely done”
Hi Callum
Many thanks. That was an informative and well packed 6 minutes or so. Fascinating and learned a few things indeed!

Nice video and I want to know the maturation ware-house should be ventilated or completely sealed.
Really interesting thank you Calum
What is meant by "Single malt"?
I assume there can be multiple malts then as well?

Great question Jason, lets discuss that in a future video!
