  • How do you get through a heat wave? How to cool down when your emotions are upsetting your inner thermostat?
    A powerful yoga breath can help to regulate both your responses to extreme outer heat, and also to upsetting emotions. It helps to cool your body and mind. The vagus nerve is involved in this process of regulation of heat, because of its direct connection to our heart and lungs, and to our guts too. Our autonomic nervous system, and specially our vagus nerve and our viscera directly affect and shape our daily experiences and our capacity to come back into balance and calm.
    In this video you will learn two forms of this powerful abdominal breath, which has been practiced for thousands of years within the Yoga healing tradition in India.
