Bro, my middle school had this. I found it because I was searching for manga in the library and was disappointed because it was all they had. (This school was in Alabama of course lmao)
I remember this manga coz there's this Catechism in my elementary school decades ago haha they used to promote this book to us kids. My country's pretty much used to Japanese media (Philippines), so it was no surprise that one way or another there's a manga based on the bible that would be introduced to us. When I read this back then, I thought it was pretty good 😆😆😆
As a Christian and also someone semi intrigued in Jewish history when he says come follow me it was what rabbis of this time say to those they choose to be there disciples these words where very important
Jesus doesn't just walk up to them and ask their names they follow him because he already knows not only their names but everything else about them and they realize that he is the savior they have been waiting for.
If you want to know the truth of this reality. Ask God or the creator of the universe to let you see and to soften your heart and right after you pray to read Matthew in the New Testament and. And God will speak to you through those words. It’s a secret mystery a lot of people don’t understand. You have not bc you have asked not.
I give this review a 1/5, as it lacks substance and style. It's a limp noodle of nothing much happening. Sure, technically, it counts as a review but it demands the critic provide a clarity and focus completely lacking in the work being reviewed - and often lacking in the original source material. Since when is it the job of the reader to do the writers' work for them? Especially when that work of adding clarity and focus has already been done by thousands of other scholars, scammers, artists, and politicians across thousands of years - seriously, The Bible is far from Yahwey's best work. An "all powerful creator" shouldn't need this kind of fan patch.
