Dear Bob and Brad, Thank you so much for all these exercises ! A lot of the exercises are very much similar to what we would do at a Ballet Barre, or A pilates class, with less emphasis on turn out and more emphasis on posture, bone density and muscle co-ordination , strength and balance. i m 40, i hv a family history of osteoporosis n arthritis and i m beginning to feel slight pain esp in my left knee. Now I know i cannot quit ballet no matter what.

I will start doing the jogging type of movement you showed every day. I wonder if the superman pose would help bone density, or the plank, or the side plank or any other yoga pose that you know? thanks for your help.

Karen, switch to Qi gong and your body will thank you. You still get your strength and cure ailments without pounding your joints. All depends on your breathing, stretching, holding time, feet, arms positioning, leaning....all internal ...Try Shibashi Qigong 1 to start with. And Google the history of Qi gong and why it heals. It looks simple but you need to be precise.
