God has been purging my life. He showed me how the things of the world were keeping me hurried and anxious. He helped me declutter our home, finances, and social media. I have slowed down tremendously and my heart is light and peaceful. God truly wants to help his children live a life that not only honours him but brings us great peace and joy. Jesus Christ loves to spend time with us each day. When we start our day with Jesus, life seems to move in harmony with him. This video is beautiful, thank you for the encouragement!

I was reading through the comments and fear some people may be missing the point of this video. You don’t need a green patch of land and chickens and a life without commitments to live a peaceful, God-honoring life. The fullness of life that Jesus promises can come to any person in any situation in any location, city or otherwise. This requires some intentionality-even for people who live in the most beautiful country-side cottages with perfectly behaved children and someone who provides for their family financially. I think that’s exactly what this creator is getting at.
It’s ok for the creator to live like this and make videos to encourage other women to try and live this way, because living by the truths of Scripture truly does bring a deep sense of peace. It’s also ok if you work full-time or live in a city or hate baking. Putting this video out there doesn’t mean she demands that every woman live exactly like she does. At no point in the video does she come out swinging at working moms or anyone who doesn’t perfectly fit this mold. The whole “this trend is toxic” accusation tends to happen when people are insecure about the way they live or their own life choices when it doesn’t perfectly align with what they see on social media. We are all different, and that’s fine.
I rarely comment, but as a sister in Christ, I wanted to offer you some encouragement. I loved your message and thought it was brimming with truth. I pray more people will be inspired by what you had to say here!

Thank you for making this video. I really need this.
I am a stay at home mom. And I've struggled screen addiction for as long as I can remember due to an abusive home. It's affected my learning and comprehension throughout the years and I believe it is because of watching so much screen time. I've cut back to once a day instead of having something on for most of the day.
I'm finding the silence in a way healing and now that I plan on homeschooling, I don't truly understand the concept. I try to understand, but zoning out is an issue for me unless I have coffee which I'm trying to cut back as well. It's not easy.
I've watched countless videos and I'm not understanding how to organize the curriculum. What may be simple to one person, isn't simple for me.
Transitioning is difficult for me to understand fully...
So to end my long and meaningless comment, we all could benefit from detaching from the world.

Watching RUclips on a television does seem to require turning up sound whereas iPad or phone does not. I don’t think it’s the creator of the video but the tv sound.

What struck me within seconds was the clear hypocrisy. The lady in the footage was surrounded by material abundance. Stuff, I at least twice your age don't possess, plus the shots of nature indicate accessibility to this. Let's slow down and make bread, I don't have an oven. I don't know but I wonder where the Christian notions of looking after others has gone. This appears indulgent of self and little to do with being a Christian.

In my content, I strive to encourage Christian homemakers to embrace simplicity and mindfulness, which is why I sometimes share things like making bread or spending time in nature. It’s less about the material aspects and more about finding joy and contentment in the everyday blessings that God provides, no matter how small they may be. I know that everyone’s circumstances are different, and I try to be mindful of that in my messages.
If any part of my content seemed indulgent or out of touch, I sincerely apologize. My intention is always to inspire and uplift, never to make anyone feel lesser or excluded. I also believe that part of being a Christian is sharing what we have, whether it’s knowledge, time, or material blessings, with others.

REFLECTING ON THE LIFE OF JESUS. SOCIAL JUSTICE IS A CENTRAL CALLING OF GOD’s SERVICE. It is appalling to read here from North America an extremely continent the sufferings that directly result from illness without a proper social infrastructure. The stories told here are from people who can manage to still keep a roof over their head.
