Did you notice if the VZ version has gotten a backlit panel to adjust the AC and the volume?
It does yes
not just on the VZ, thats also coming to V1/2/3 too.
Can you precondition the battery manually now for fast charging?
Currently no. We don't know as of yet if you will be able to on the new software.
I can't get to your dealerships in the south east region, but have seriously considered a Cupra Born for the past 2 years to date. Can one purchase and have this vehicle delivered to their address if they proceed with the sale outside of the dealership?
Absolutely. We offer nationwide delivery. Drop me an email max.spooner@smcmotorgroup.co.uk and I'll put you in touch with one of our CUPRA Specialists!

Do you know if the latest generation software will come to older existing cupra borns? :)
We don't know but we've asked the question to CUPRA UK for you.
what do the padels on the steering wheel do?
They adjust how much regen there is on braking.
@@smcmotorgroup surely braking?🤣
Where did that rogue e come from???
That’s LHD though?
Correct RHD models currently don't exist but once they do we'll have a UK car on the channel for a full walkthrough.
I think Cupra has missed a trick with this one (as owner of an existing V2 77kwh). Where is the dual motor setup that most other manufacturers favour for their performance models - is there something in the architechture that prevents it? The power boost is useful but way short of some rivals. Also, while some of the other modifications are appreciated (e.g. new screen and software) why was this not an opportunity to put in actual buttons for the climate etc? I cannot understand why there was deemed a need to move the gear selector lever while not addressing the awful haptic controls. Finally, for a car at this price point, the hard scratchy plastics on the door trim are really poor. Finally, finally, were the wheels designed by lego?
More power doesn't always mean more fun. Just look at Mercedes and Audi for proof in their hot hatches. The press have declared this as the best electric hot hatch to date beating the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5N and MG 4 Xpower. As for why they didn't re-engineer the dashboard and steering wheel, I can assume that was a cost decision. As for the wheels, other options are available on the CUPRA configurator. Could we interest you in a part exchange?
