Seeing this LIVE and having it be the opener, was a treat. They blew me away and they kept blowing me away for over an hour! You will also love their LIVE version of Master Of Puppets with Aidan Fisher. I'm glad to hear your comment about if they don't become "massive" that something is wrong, because all of us Fangs, totally and wholeheartedly agree. Rawk on and rawk hard.
If ya watch it again ,look at the bass drum, if it has a yellow and black spiral on it stead of the band name LILIAC , that was the show I was at in Bloomington IL last year
I love this song. This is the song they open their concerts with and in fact they started the concert I went to with this song. They increase the energy in the show from that point until the show ends.
In their live version of Master of Puppets featuring "Aiden Fisher" from.the show "Stranger Things" Melody uses some of the death metal growls your looking for so I would check that out. She's a singer that can sing anyway she wants. She's always experimenting with her voice. She does do some pretty cool stuff in the Master Of Puppets live.
Great reaction you mentioned UK they may be there right now they just went on a family Trip to Romania and will do some Europe. Melodys voice is amazing you asked banshee screams checkout Dear Father.
During their Moonlight tour last year, they opened with this song. Pretty much in this manner which is longer, seemingly heavier and definitely more vocal/screams than the original studio recording from 4-ish years ago. The gal that ran the merch booth for the tour would go film during this song at each of the shows, which is where all that footage came from. After the tour, they went back into the studio, re-recorded this revamped version and set it to the concert footage. It was released as a thank you to the fangs that supported them for the tour. And to that we say "YOUR WELCOME!" (if you went to a Moonlight tour show you get that). For another song that shows Melody's range try their original "Dancing in the Dark". She has a softer side, a solid rock voice and at the end a scream that set the stage for what was to come. Good stuff. The video is good also, interpretive dance, the band playing in water, colored hair. Thousands of bands have done it, nothing all to new there but it just works! Enjoy! Fang4Life! RO&RH! 🤘😎🤘
I am off the road today so I caught ya early. Thought you'd like this. This is actually from their first EP Chain of Thorns. I have 3 versions now. For just a young woman, she uses a lot of vocal techniques. Check out some of the other ones that uses the beginning to harsh vocals. My 3rd band I support uses then more and I've grown to love them. I friend pointed out some that she uses. Try the Live Master of Puppets. She uses more of what I would say are a little harsh vocal techniques. Loved the reaction. Till next Liliac! Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! RORH 🌹❤️🤘🦇
As I've said before, I am also a fan of Deathcore/Metalcore/Death Metal. That being said Melody doesn't use any Death Metal or Metalcore growls, yet. The closest she has come was during Master Of Puppets Live with Aidan Fisher and Madness which isn't on their channel. She does have many other vocal techniques though such as opera & throat singing, she also used to play Bass, & taught herself Flute.
Melody's vocals are EPIC! She can do so much with her voice, check out Dear Father or their live cover of Master of Puppets featuring Aidan Fisher. Thanks for the awesome reaction and stay safe. Fang4Life!!
We told ya so , now to be further gobsmacked react to their tribute cover's of Whitestripes SEVEN NATION ARMY or Joan jetts HATE MYSELF FOR LOVING YOU and their originals DANCING IN THE DARK or DEAR FATHER and MARS all different all showcasing Melody's vocal diversity and range and the professional musicianship of her sister and brothers , do all this and you will still only be at the start of a very long journey . Great reaction keep them coming . FANG4LIFE RORH
