I'm really looking forward to this series. Thank you very much Frank. I'm a life long guitarist and have always loved and wished to play piano. For me, it's just a wonderful instrument to sit at and let musical ideas flow. I've got the theoretical know how, but not the chops. I'm gonna stick with this series and enjoy my progress. Many thanks again.
You had me at your first video! Wherever you get your knowledge from, Frank, which is unbelievably thorough, it's your delivery of the content that makes you a fantastic teacher! Glad to see you again. Deb in Au
It takes a special person to see what you just described... namely that these lessons apply to other aspects of life, as well. All the best to you in music and life!
Thanks so much for asking. No such exists at the moment, but that is an absolutely capital idea! Any suggestions for a piece of music that both you and a general audience might be interested in?
@@judew939 That may be the most perfect suggestion possible! A lovely piece, widely known, not too difficult to read. I will not have access to my studio for a few weeks, but in the meantime, I will start storyboarding possible topics: harmonic analysis, melodic analysis, form, meter, rhythm, chords, chord progressions, roman numeral analysis, technique, memorization, etc. is the a particular aspect that interests you? (Thanks so much this. Your engagement is exactly what I hoped to find by putting Piano-ology out there) Cheers!
Tip #23: Watch Frank’s videos! His enthusiasm is infectious.
