Ive got a pontoon houseboat with a 1989 50HP Force on it. Mine has the pee hole on the starboard side with the hose coming off the top of the head. I had no idea that this is not from the factory. I thought all outboards had pee holes. Lol I guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks for the video! 🍻
That’s awesome!!! Don’t let these old girls die!!!! 👍👍👍 Pretty sure you posted that on smellavision cause I could smell it or my ‘72 merc 70 horse. Damn I love the smell of a good ole 2 stroke!!!!!
Are you running a thermostat in yours? I have a 120 and I dont get anywhere near that amount of water out of the upper holes on muffler or in a deep bucket of water. I have a thermostat in mine and replaced the headgasket after making sure there was a new water pump installed and the coolant passages for the cylinders was clean and clear.
Thank you for my sanity. Took all day to just find the damn word tell tail. Now I found your short now this. Pease thank you so much
Bro I though I had lost my mind. First outboard w/o one and has been freaking me out. I knew there would be someone with a hack
Came here to add a spitter to my motor.
Got a kick-ass riff instead!

yes there is a thermostat in this engine.
Will this affect cooling at all? Or is the water coming out the tell tale already used for cooling?
It's flowing from the head and used for cooling. No issue's on my force 50 after 8 years and it's been on the Chrysler for 4.
I need help brother I’m trying to fix it but I gave a 1988 85 hp there’s no water coming out at all what do I do bud
You need a new impeller. The rubber fan that pumps water. Located in the lower motor leg.
