I had no idea Smith Wigglesworth said that. The Lord has been speaking to me a lot through his word. He has made it come alive to me so much. And he told me recently that he was blowing a mighty wind on his word and that he would make it come alivr to his children again. May I share with you my experience? I suffered from strong hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder. The Lord instructed me to pray in the spirit for an hour straight, without interruptions, without doing anything else. It was extremely difficult for me to do it.. I was going nuts! He told me that my emotions were like a pot with boiling water, that I needed to ask Him to temper my emotions, to prevent my emotions to fall into depression, or burst up in explosions or to fall into an emotional frenzy in order that I don't sin against Him. I started praying that every day, (I still do)and praying in the spirit. When I was able to pray for one hour straight, He told me to pray for two hours. The first hour to put reins to my emotions, the second hour to "charge" my batteries. He knows what each of us needs, and is ready to help us. We only need to trust and obey Him, and He will do amazing things in our lives. Praise His Holy Name! By the way, He also named spirits that were inside of me, and taught me how to pray and expell them out of me - delivering me. He is so precious!!!! I am a different person now! To Him be the glory forever!!!!

Thanks a lot for your testimony. What does it mean praying in Spirit? Is it praying in tongues? How to know the way I speak in tongues is the real speaking in tongues and not making it up? I've been saying same few words for the last 15 years. It does not sound like a language, like it sounds of other people. I was told to believe it is speaking in tongues, but I do not feel encouraged afterwards or anything. So now I am questioning if I am making it up.
@@dianaluize + Praing in the spirit is praying in other tongues (as the Spirit of God gives you). These don't go"through your brain", it's not something that you learn. If you ask your Father to fill you up with the Holy Spirit, and to give you that language, He will. In faith you receive and speak out loud, disconnected from your reasoning. Every person gets his or her own. Some may sound similar, others are very different. It's not important. The important thing is your connection with your Father, the relationship with Him, and your trust and faith in Him. Then, just speak uninterruptedly for 15 min. then 30 min. until you are able to do it one hour straight or more. Now, to be guided by God, you must empty yourself of the "self" (your desires, ideas, wishes, everything). Since all we have is from a corrupt nature, we must "crucify" it. Only when we do that, JesusChrist will be our true Lord, and direct/guide us. Don't focus in the variety of words (you can always ask Him to increase what you have, but you have to excercise what He gives you). We need to be filled up with His Word, attentive to His direction in everything we do. We must crucify every wish and desire, or we will hear ourselves, not Him. God bless you!
Wow ! This was AMAZING for me tonight. Thank you Carol ! I've tried to soak many, many times and have just laid there bored, fallen asleep or felt like something was wrong with me because everyone else was having these wonderful experiences but not me. Years and years of that and I had almost given up trying but tonight when Carol started the soaking time with Psalms 23, I kicked back and gave it another go. Surely I wouldn't experience anything - after all, I had been doing a puzzle while listening to her teaching, right ?
But tonight something happened. Immediately I saw and experienced a wonderful time with the Lord and the disciples and those who followed them from place to place, His friends. First I was just with Jesus, the Shepherd, feeling soft green grass under my feet. It was beautiful where we were. We could see for miles and it was breezy. on the hillside. The sun was setting and dusk came and we sat side by side, me leaning into Jesus's side for warmth and we had some soup - or I did - from a wooden bowl. We had grapes and cheese. I was dressed for the time period like the other women. I could see the others here and there, doing their own thing when Jesus wanted to dance. --- I could FEEL these intense emotions all through this encounter and we communicated without speaking out loud. I was telling Jesus, surely He didn't want to spend time with me, I hadn't confessed all my sins from that day yet... I had questions! Jesus wouldn't have any of it and without speaking, He pulled me up into a dance, old school and fast. He was so happy and laughing, others were too . There was no disappointment in His eyes when He looked at me.
Jesus started twirling me, many times and we danced and laughed with the others - switching dances - doing energetic ones that didn't afford for speaking - because me speaking, might have ruined it. He just wanted me to BE in the "here and now" and ENJOY this time with Him. Not unloading and asking Him questions. Someone cut in and we danced - not a close dance, but a dance where we crossed and locked hands and leaned back and went in circles. Then Jesus cut back in.
I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay there with them and follow Him too. I was happy --- and young !! But I could hear the testimonies at CTF and the first and second girls speaking of dancing with Jesus too, and I was back. It's hard to believe that this happened but I do. Wow ! I had to type it out immediately so that I would never forget. I hope we get to do it many times to come. Thank you Carol and John.

The Father taught me that we need to ask Him to give us of His love to love Him!!! what comes of our flesh doesn't please Him. So we need Him to fill us with His love to love Him. What a beautiful reality.... we need not to be like Martha.... struggling and hurrying "to please Him".... but that we rather do what Miriam did...sit at His feet, enjoy His Presence. Pray for my country and our neighbours, Scandinavia! they are running away from God and the laws are shifting dramaticly against Jesus in this days!! That is a crying-prayer from a lot of the free-churchesand around in Norway. The country-church are heresies too.
It is hard to be christian too in this society in many ways.
Dear, the time has come that Almighty God will judge this apostatic "church". Rebellion, apostasy, high treason to God are the charges. If God did not forgive Israel when He sent His Son and they rejected Him, this modern church that has a thousand heads (none of them is Christ), salt that lost its savor, will not be spared. Check out Isaiah 24 to 26. Wolves entered the church. (Warlocks and witches covered in lambs' coverings infiltrated the church and people followed them) They taught error, and people accepted their teachings as true.
The Lord has come, with a sword in His right hand and a torch of fire on His left hand to do what He has to do. People expect a "rapture" thinking they are a pure bride, and deserve to be raptured, as if they are not aware of our sin against Him.
At this time we must seek the Lord with all our hearts for our personal direction and protection, because He will pour out His wrath upon the earth. Salvation is personal. We must seek to hear His voice privately and obey Him! He must be our only Rock and Master.

This is a vision I received, Yeshua, the conquering King, with a torch of fire in His left hand and a black sword on His right hand. The words He spoke: "I planted wheat, but the ground is covered with toxic plants. I come to cut it all and burn it to the ground, for it corrupted the earth."
The visions the Lord gives are figure of a message, and He gives the interpretation of the vision.
The modern "church", (body) is greatly disconnected from its Head. Like a person who suffers cerebral palsey, that his brain does not control his body, such is the modern church. The Head is Jesus, the Leader is Jesus, and we as his body, should carry out His instructions, His work, led by Him, strengthened and empowered by His Holy Spirit. It's not about us trying to do His work however we think. Our ideas and initiatives are not welcome. He knows what He wants to do through us.
Most people don't take time to be in the Presence of the Lord seeking His Face, seeking Him to receive direction and revelation of what He wants to do; learning from Him how to pray for every situation we face.
Most people only take the written word as guide, overlooking that He gave us His Holy Spirit so that we could be connected with Him at all times, hearing His instructions to us in specific situations.
True christianity is about Christ living His life through us. The self is out of the picture, He is the important one. True christianity is not a religion, it is a personal intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior!

As someone who is also prophetically gifted, I've had the privilege of sitting under & being mentored by a number of 'Prophets' that have been raised up for this very day/season of the church/Yeshua's Bride.
Personally, for me. it would be much more beneficial to point out & specifically say, when commenting, that "I was shown the Lord Jesus coming with . . . ", rather than cause any misunderstandings, i.e. as if we're directly quoting scripture.
As last night, as I was watching this video again, I was amazed at how many obviously not-yet-christians, had bothered to tune into CTF & so, we want to be clear with, what is biblical scripture & also clear when we have received something by holy inspiration.
People want truth & are hungry for it (even when they don't actually know that they are hungry for truth!?!), the world is searching BUT are/is very quick to jump on issues, such as 'soaking', as not being found in the Torah or the Bible (whatever version is read) but actually, soaking is just a modern day way of intentional meditating.
But NOT meditating as the world knows it, where folks are instructed to 'empty' your mind & allow connection with some New Age spirit.
NO - when folk, who are 'born anew' by God's Spirit, precious HOLY SPIRIT & then take time to soak/meditate, it's the ONE we're meditating on - Jesus &/or Abba, Father.
Just as you were rightly pointing out Gladys, it's just an additional way to spend time with the One who loves us - the Most.
And meditation IS BIBLICAL - Here are just a few (for those who need backup & proof)
Psalm 48:9 - "we MEDITATE (allow myself to soak in) on your (God's) unfailing love;
Psalm 77:12 - "I will meditate on all your (God's/Jesus') works;
Psalm 119:15 - "I meditate on your precepts (guiding principle);
And so it goes on, there's loads of scriptures that mention meditating/getting absorbed in/soaking in 'what' God has said to mankind, in HIS inspired word - the Bible (just in the book of Psalms, alone).
And also by divine inspiration - by his Holy Spirit.
And isn't it THAT, which Carol is trying to teach/show us, that we have GREAT NEED of taking time out of such a hectic world, especially in this digital age, when our brains, let alone out emotions, are having to process 'SO MUCH STUFF', we're bombarded with information, upon information, upon images, upon images etc etc etc.
And all the time, Jesus, Yeshua is reaching out to us & saying "Come away with me", "Be still & KNOW...that I AM GOD" - *WONDERFUL*
Even before Yahweh gave his instructions to Moses, individuals are mentioned in the bible, thinking (meditating/soaking) about the thing's of God etc, as it's written in:
Genesis 24:63 'He (Isaac, Abrahams son) went out to the field one evening to meditate'.
Keep 'pressing in to HIM' Gladys - for he loves you with a love beyond anything, any of us have ever experienced before & that same love is set to be 'spilled' out again, upon all flesh.

I have not had the privilege of being around holy people, like you have.
I am so glad to hear that many people in your area are seeking God, for you have the opportunity to show them the right path. It is important, in prayer, to bring to the Presence of the Lord any message you find strange. He will certainly enlighten you.
I come from a very dark place and was surrounded by the apostate, rebellious body who believes to be the bride of Christ, and think they can use the Holy Power as they wish, self-righteous and proud people who can't receive correction. People who use the power of God to curse anyone who doesn't accept their leadership or instruction (manipulation and control). They have embezzled the Holy authority and anointing, and have harmed the true followers of Yeshua. (many of them occultists infiltrated in the body and took over).
I received that vision in this context.
Yeshua/Jesus, my Lord and Savior had mercy on me and rescued from them. I would be dead if He hadn't come to my rescue, literally. So He granted me "extra time", to live for Him. He has been my father, my teacher, my provider, my healer, the source of my life. What I know is what He has taught me when reading His written Word that has many layers in it, a real treasure! Also, by His Spirit has directed me to some writings like Spurgeon, The Life of Elijah by Arthur Pink, and many others. He always shows me what to keep in my heart! Blessed be His Holy Name.
I always study the Scriptures or the writings He shows me in His Presence, asking Him to reveal His truth to me by His Holy Spirit. He always does! We are so very privileged to have Him living within ourselves! He is the real treasure, amazing like no other.
God is Spirit and He established spiritual laws. Of course, the fallen angels are spirits also and after the fall controlled the world. They always pervert what God has created. God did not take away their power when they rebelled against Him, so they have deceived humanity.
Nowadays many people think that the christian ministers are operating spiritual "gifts" that come from the fallen angels power because that's what they know.
Yeshua wanted to bring those rebellious spiritual powers down through His body. For that we needed to be connected with Him, submitted, obedient.
The body forgot to obey a basic principle Yeshua said to whoever wants to follow Him (Mathew 16.24). I must die for Christ to live in me and govern my life. If I don't crucify my ideas, wishes, desires, they will speak louder. There can only be One Head, One boss. It is either Yeshua, or "I". So I must move out of the picture, voluntarily. The original sin was to become "independent" from God. To return to God, we must willingly return to depend upon Him. All creation depends upon Him, we were created that way. He is all wisdom, He knows what He is doing!
Sadly I have seen too many who don't want to lose that independence.
They surely want a savior, they want to receive blessings, but they still want to govern their lives.
Mathew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
This is true rest and true freedom!!! but He said: take my yoke upon you. We have to do that ourselves, He doesn't impose it on us.
Yes, dear! Let us keep pressing in to Him! He is our everything. We truly need to be seeking to know Him more and more, as He comes to the earth to do this "cleaning". It won't be pretty, a judgment is never pretty. (Isaiah 24).
At this time let us remember Isaiah 26:9
With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Isaiah 26:20 Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourselves a little while until the wrath has passed. 21 For behold, the LORD is coming out of His dwelling to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. So the apostles did soaking? Jesus did soaking? Answer is no and no. You are being deceived. Jesus said pray like this....Our Father who art in Heaven....etc. Pray with words! Soaking prayer is unbiblical.
I think (in my openion) that only can say a deep catholic human who doesn't know the bible (and understand it) nor experienced god. But even my mother from the catholic corner knows, that it's important to be still and let him (do, ...) She also named the verse: "Be still and know, that I am god.", so read between the verses, dear!
How to soak in His presence? What does suppose to happen? I am lying on bed for more than one hour, not speaking at all and thinking about all kind of things but I do not feel any presence or God speaking to me or anything....it is frustrating. Afterwards I cry out of frustration.
Friend, this is not automatic nor magic! You need to position yourself before God the Almighty King: 1. If you have been born again, have you done what Jesus said in the Gospel: is he No.1 in your life or is He like a "santa claus" for you? 2. Have you denied yourself daily (don't do what you want); have you crucified your flesh/self? 3. Are you hungry for His Presence? Do you seek to be in His Presence most of the time? 4. Do you seek to get to know Him more and more, studying the Scriptures in His Presence, asking Him to teach you, to open your spiritual understanding to learn His wisdom? Do you seek to hear His voice and do as He guides you in everything you do? Do this first, and seek Him with all your heart and then He will manifest to you. HE won't manifest to people who are not EAGER, HUNGRY for His Presence, for Him! He is GOD, He is KING... This is what christianity is all about... it is all about HIM being enthroned in our lives! Then, it is easy to be in His Presence and to perceive His whispers of love, direction, guidance etc. Hope this helps you prepare for Him.
@@GladysRWhite thanks so much for your direct and helping words. To answer honestly 1. I am not sure if He is really always and in every area of my life the No 1. I ask God to do whatever He wants with my life and I want to be a tool in His hands, but many times I feel like it is only me acting and I don't always represent Him very well. 2. I didn't deny myself, most of the times I do what I want. I don't know any other. 3. When I have free time, especially now on the weekends I really try to seek His presence, trying to overcome distractions. But during the week when working I am so full of work, working late, it is hard to be hungry for Him. I don't think it is possible to work and have a close relationship with God. Work is so time consuming and I forget everything else around me. 4. I listen as much as I can to audio bible. I am reading so many emails at work, that I am tired of reading anything else. I don't know how to know when he is speaking. I rarely recognize His voice, sometimes weeks or months later I realized that it was God who wanted me to do something. It is so true what you are saying that being hungry for Him is so important and put Him on the throne of my life. But how to do this when I am not capable of doing it?
After you have done what I mentioned previously, you need to HUMBLE yourself before Him (kneeling is better than laying on bed) recognizing before Him that you don't deserve anything, that you are a sinner and thanking Him for forgiving you and for taking you as a daughter. Then activate yourself! Praises, bring Him songs of praise because He deserves them! Take time to praise, thank Him with joy for all His goodness for you! Give Him Honor!!! He is your Lord, your King, your God! DON'T ASK FOR ANYTHING. It's all about Him! Honoring Him.
Then, after a good time of doing this, you ask Him to please, give you spiritual songs to sing for Him. You now sing to Him in the spirit (using your spiritual language received when baptized by the Holy Spirit). He will give you beautiful songs!
Then you just adore Him. You postrate yourself in His Presence, and keep silent. In your thoughts as well. Just be there adoring your Great King! Attentive to any whisper He might give you. It could be His whisper, a vision, an idea.... you need to be very attentive to His move.
You need to do this as frequently as possible. Persistence, perseverance, that's all you need. If you do it with all your heart, I am certain He will come near you.

The important thing is that you have an intimate relationship with God. This can only be achieved if you do what Jesus said: whosoever wants to follow me, deny yourself and take up your cross and follow me. Deny yourself (don't do what we want, but always ask Him what His will is in that situation). Take up your cross: we need to daily crucify our carnality, so that He can be our Lord and guide us by His Holy Spirit. Jesus said that whosoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
Christianity is ALL ABOUT HIM. If we are full of ourselves, our desires, ideas etc. He cannot be the all in all He was appointed to be (Ephesians 1:23).
Soaking is their term for "abiding in His Presence!" connected with Him, adoring Him, dedicating time, attention, to submit totally to Him. You can do it on your own, in your own private space. He will manifest to you as long as you are HUNGRY for Him, for His Presence, and give Him the First Place He deserves.
Paul said it this way: It's no longer I that lives but Christ that lives in me. Jesus died to give us the oppportunity to return to God. To gain Jesus, we as His bride, must do exactly the same, die to the self. Then we will have His peace, guidance, protection etc. Spiritual things are not "magical" nor automatic, like some people would like them to be. Our basic purpose on earth is to know our God and to serve Him. God bless you.

Mathew 16:24 whosoever wants to follow me, let him deny himself (don't do what you want), take up his cross (to crucify his own carnality). Our nature is 100% corrupt, it replicates satan that's why we need to kill it, crucify it daily.
Many so-called christians believe it happens automatically when they come to Christ. It does not. When we are born again, we come through the Door (Christ), we live behind the kingdom of satan/darkness, and enter into a new Kingdom of God and Light. We bring a baggage of corruption with us, and in obedience to our Lord who purchased us for Himself, we need to put to death our own carnality that is where sin flourishes, and private agendas since now we belong to Christ and are not free to do our own thing, pursue our own dreams. We need to bring all to submission to Christ. Our ideas, our initiatives to "do something for Christ" need to be crucified (everything that originates in us is carnal and corrupt).
Crucify our carnality, how do you do it?
First of all: Pray to your Father, ask Him to help you do it with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.
Then, take a pen and a paper and make three columns.
First column: write all the good things you are aware of in yourself, virtues, qualities, capabilities
Second column: list all the negative things you are aware of in yourself, defects, weaknesses
Third column: write down your projects, dreams, wishes, desires - even the desire to serve God.
Be honest and do it in a thorough way, take your time and ask the Holy Spirit to bring you to your consciousness aspects you may have forgotten.
Then, in your privacy with the Lord, build up an altar of sacrifice (or put up your cross), and one by one, crucify each aspect of the lists you wrote down. You voluntarily put them to death, because their origin is corrupt, even the gifts you were born with. So we put everything to death, even though is painful. We will receive a deliverance we never dreamt of. We will rest of “our works”. This is TRUE FREEDOM, and it is W O N D E R F U L .
We then ask the Father to give us HIS virtues, qualities, capabilities, desires, according to His will. He will provide you with holy ones, you let go the carnal - corrupt ones. We win all the time!
When The Lord gives you a gift, immediately bring them to the cross and give it back to Him, ask Him to use it through you according to His will, to bring Him glory.
WE MUST BE always AWARE THAT: We belong to Christ. He is our Master, Teacher, Boss.
Whatever we are given is NOT for us to use freely on our own.
We must be aware we cannot be INDEPENDENT and act on our own, that was the fall of man and we must get back to being totally DEPENDENT on God. Ask Him, seek to be in His Presence and be ready to do whatever He sends us to do.
Let us allow Him to live His life through us, let us be His channels for His Glory!

The silly stuff we see coming from the “profits” isn’t spoken of, and the “signs and wonders” today are horrible imitations. I do listen to these people......and I rarely hear them articulate the Gospel.
@@DW-yq4zn I am so grieved that the much of the Church has been fed the legalistic lie you just expressed, stripping the Church of two major offices (prophet and apostle, which have never been removed by God), and leaving the Body of Christ powered by head knowledge rather than by the Holy Spirit revealing our understanding of not only the Scriptures, but our relationship with Jesus, Himself. This has weakened the Church and left it operating in a whole lot of words and ideas, but devoid of the power and authority that God has given us in Christ. Spending time quietly worshipping and resting in God's presence is as much food for our walk with Christ as reading His Word - they go hand-in-hand. Imagine the sum total of a marriage being working, paying bills, cooking, cleaning and dutifully driving the children where they need to be with no time spent just cuddling on the couch, holding hands, praying together, quietly conversing, listening to one another's heart, and expressing love for one another. At some point, that marriage would experience no fullness or growth and, soon, no life because their first love had been ignored. Our relationship with God is no different and this has nothing to do with salvation. You can accept the grace gift of Jesus' work on the cross, be saved, and then walk out your relationship with Him in a dull, powerless emptiness. Soaking is simply spending that personal, nourishing time with Jesus. The fact that those who are blinded by a pharisaical, legalistic lie within factions of the Church teach that this is not biblical and is nowhere in Scripture is unfortunate beyond words.

Soaking in His Presence is about honoring GOD. If He wills, at His time, He can heal. He is able to heal but it has to do with our personal relationship with Him. We don't soak in His Presence to receive but to give Him honor, glory and praises! He is our King and Lord!

Dave Risavy. I understand what your are attempting to say to me. I'll direct you to a book by R. Davis 'True to His ways - Purity and Safety in in Christian Spiritual Practice. I really wanted these 'experiences' myself and the Lord allowed me to do just that, then I opened by bible with a Berean spirit as it were and had my eyes opened to cut a long story very short. Please I beg you check everything out with the written word, not what you experience alone. I could say more, but distance and space here is against me.
