Taranto: solemn commemoration for the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation

Today, Thursday 25 April, the solemn commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Liberation was held in Piazza della Vittoria in Taranto. The ceremony was presided over by the Prefect of Taranto, Paola Dessì, accompanied by the Interregional Southern Maritime Commander, Team Admiral Vincenzo Montanaro.
The Civil, Military and Religious Authorities took part in the ceremony, together with the combat and arms associations. The program included the flag raising, the guard of honour, the reading of the institutional messages, the commemorative speeches and the laying of the laurel wreath at the War Memorial.
