  • "TAKING FLIGHT" is a documentary displaying the essence of the WASZP Class and its journey to where it is today as the most popular one design foiling boat in the world.
The documentary takes you on a journey from the thought process in 2016 when the WASZP was launched, to the development of the WASZP Games, to the sailors experience, to the culture and the team behind the scenes. It is a gripping tale of how the WASZP plans to drive the future of sailing.
The short film will PREMIERE on Wednesday the 30th of October. It will be shown through the Waszp Facebook Page and will be shared through SailGP social channels.
You can also catch it through our youtube channel and you can subscribe today - bit.ly/WASZP-YO...

so is a wazp just a moth made with heavier less expensive material?

    • @MontyD

and cheaper and less dangerous and better for beginners! It's targeted at the average person, rather than pro's like Slingsby and Outerage.

So can you upright this by yourself, Im seeing these guys appear to be waiting for help

Of course you can!! They aren't waiting for help, they are just having a break sitting the boat on it's side. Not the most stable to just sit in it upright like a normal slower sailing dinghy ;-)

I wish they made this for normal sized adults. You have to have a juvenile build to sail this it seems.
