  • I transcribed this version of Laufey's short piano piece by ear. There is free sheet music from the singer's own arranger; when I did this one, I didn't know about that. But there are a few more details in mine. It's available at www.musicnotes.com/l/H3tNb and remember, my licensing contract pays most of that download fee to the original artist!
    Please subscribe! This is my spin-off channel dedicated for easy pop piano music. If you like piano covers that are really faithful to the original songs, this is where to look!

      Its im the sheet music she gave when she leaked all her songs and i was just wondering how do i play it

      Notation is often based on the theoretical idea of what's in the accompaniment and what's in the melody, even if the two overlap. In this particular case, the arranger didn't bother separating the two. For that measure, you can leave those redundant notes out of the left hand and play them with the right hand, because that makes it easier to voice the melody line. Let me know if you need any more specific help at the piano 😊

    Even though I follow her official sheet, the last part sounds a little bit off. Do you have your version of sheet ?

    • @klavierpoplieder
      @klavierpoplieder  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah, her sheets are also just written by a hired arranger and some of the notation is ambiguous. My sheets for this have actually been downloaded by many people--see the video description for the link. As always, thanks for listening!

      For Nocturne, it does make sense to just get the sheets that get arranger created (I had no idea that she uploaded them when I did these by ear), although there are some details in my version that are more specific or just notated to be more playable.
      But for the songs, my sheets are not the same instrumentation. Hers are piano-vocal sheets. My sheets put the entire song on the piano, melody and all. It totally changes how it's played.
      Also, the licensing setup for my sheet music pays most of the download fee to the original singers.
      Lastly, I've notated a lot more details from the recordings than what the free sheets offer. The intro of Bewitched, for example, emulates the orchestral textures in my sheet. I think if you had listened and compared, you'd see that.
      Unfortunately your comment is very uninformed.
