I BROKE 6 BONES and then I DID THE BEST MOTORBIKE RACE OF MY LIFE - Racing is life 2019 RACE 1

- Опубликовано: 13 фев 2020
- The 2019 racing season was the most incredible in my whole life! In these videos i will throwback to it and show you every motorbike race i had in 2019.
Let's start by the first one! The season started pretty badly, with a hard crash on my pitbike where i broke 6 bones. Then, 40 days later, the first race of the season. The best race in my life!
This didn't even feel like a 20 minute video. A 10 minute video on RUclips feels like an eternity. This felt like 3 minutes.
Shit, this was 20 minutes!?!? XD I didn't even notice
SO true! lol if you didnt point it out I wouldve never noticed! That ending had such terrible luck
He is so good at making videos
It means you enjoy the vodeo
He really does have a gift for telling a story, even if it is just about a crash and a motorcycle race👌
Respect to the other drivers tho, when i look at this clip, they litterally stopped and helped you get in the ambulance! Good sportsmanship right there!!
It's because firstly judges didn't notice him going down, so his Friends stopped to catch judges' attention.
(He says that in italian videos from what I remember)
It's apparently different on small tracks, but otherwise it's forbidden to stop, for safety reasons. The ambulance will wait that everybody get out of the track before entering and doing their job.
Possibly one of the best videos I have watched on RUclips- not just motorsports videos - seriously there were soooo many pearls of wisdom from start to finish in here. Seriously so many important lessons - from injury, to recovery and rehab to mental barriers returning to the track, to dealing with conditions never faced before and in the end truly victorious despite second - that was victory for you and you responded like a real champion. So impressed. And like others have said it’s hard to believe that was 20 minutes long - I will share this with our riding group for sure. Thanks for spending all the time making these - you make RUclips a pot of gold. Bravo. BRAVO!!
11:59 he actually fell after you passed him
@@Jakobmoen yep
For some reason that part was hilarious 😂
1:28 I felt so bad when seeing the doctor cutting the dainese sleeve😕
Me toooo
I almost cried 😓
Man brother.........I'm as amazed (possible more) at the time given to the production of these video's as your riding/driving. I don't know how many people understand the production of a video like yours. Your doing this, and doing that but hell the production/shooting/editing of the video ALONE IS A HUGE DEAL! I don't know how you do it. You got your hands in all kinds of stuff, your one smart cat that's for sure. Being able to give attention to so many different areas is unique I think, not many people can do that. I imagine you would succeeded at anything you tried or wanted to.
Had to edit this to say this. STORY TELLER! Good story teller to! lol....f amazing!
Sometimes I feel like I'm going too fast on my bicycle. It's mindblowing that people do this. Cheers for the entertaining video, and stay safe!
Alberto, I simply love that kind of content. Your stories are very interesting to watch. Keep them coming! 💪
Thank you so much for all you share ,Your information and attitude towards racing and life has helped inspire me. To get back on the track and do something I have always wanted to do again even at the age of 58. I am lucky to be in good shape and have overcome so many struggles in my life ....Thank you for sharing so much and being so kind to so many others .The world needs more people like you !!!!!!
It's been a long time since my heartrate actually went up watching a video, but you have narrated and put the video's togather perfectly. I can't wait to see more. Excellent job!!!!!
You're such an inspiration, Sir Naska! Keep up the good work.
nice story telling... it's a 20 min vid but feels like a 5 min vid, that's how good this video is! thanks Naska!
Thanks for reposting in English! I’ve watched your Italian videos but when it’s in English I can have it playing in the background and listen, instead of having to read the subtitles the whole time. Keep up the good work!
I just love the way I can see your acceleration, braking, speed and you explaining everything at the same time...
Despite than being in your helmet is the ultimate experience.... I have learned so much from you and I'm bringing your teachings to the track this coming May . Njmotorsports at thunderbolt lol...
You're simply the best Thank you!💪👍
Absolutely love this! Thanks for the details you provide and giving us insight to your thought process.
A very well made video! Thank you for this. Didnt notice that 20mins has passed. Love the emotions thrown and the narration. It was like being in the race as well!
Alberto, great story! Thanks for sharing. Have a great season 2020.
12:22 LOL
Every time when I'm watching your races, I can feel the thrill and excitement from the riding footage and your narrative. My heart is pounding in my chest and it almost feels as if I am riding your race (although I am waaay much slower than you...). It's absolutely a joy to watch your videos! Not only is it entertaining, but I also learn a lot about riding technique and the small details that make a difference in a race. Thanks again, and I look forward to see more of your upcoming racing season. Greetings from the Netherlands, ciao!

I've never seen your channel before now but I instantly subscribed. I love how amped you get about racing and the story you told. Also, I've broken my collarbone and ribs in a motorcycle crash and know exactly the pain you are speaking of!
5:48 The sound of the guy revving your R1 sounds insane. Literally makes me want to sell my R6 and get an R1 just for the crossplane sound👌
R6 sounds better imo
R1 well both have different cylinder configuration fyi
To see all of the hard work and determination pay off for you was worth the watch. That wet race was definitely full of emotions, and you didn't let it eat you alive, good show and you learned so much. The best part about the end was how happy you and the other racers were, but I'm hoping those that fell out during the race weren't injured. Cheers 👍
Seeing you deal with your injuries at the beginning of the video was like seeing flashbacks of my life. LOL. I have been playing Futebol, practicing BJJ and riding motorcycles for a long time and can definitely relate. Also, please, bring all the racing videos on this channel with English commentaries, getting your strategic thought process during a race is fascinating! Concetto molto bello! 👍
Its cold outside and wet, I'm going outside to practice after this video!! This channel excites me to have fun getting better at riding.
You were the fastest because of your incredible technical analysis skills. Well done mate, this is how it should be done. You are amazing.
Normally I get bored very quickly of watching on-board videos but your commentary made it very entertaining. Molto benne!
11:57 .... thats how I crashed the first time in the Rain. It´s kinda hard for me to feel the bike while riding in the rain. Anyways, awesome Vid, I wish you all the best for 2020 ! Keep on rocking!
@Ninja ZX-12R Yeah I learned it the hard way .... You have to be gentle and smooth while racing in the rain. I learned my lesson.
How much where the damages?$?
@@ByzNookie feel you bro crashed my Kawasaki ZXR400 in the rain too...
Respect to you Alberto, you are a warrior, getting quickly over your fears. Congrats man!
Im so glad you have this international channel!! Just found you abput two weeks ago and I'm so glad i did. Great channel brother with awesome content , ive been going back and watching your older vids also . keep up the great work !!
Something else, the fact you now have a handle running in the wet is a weapon in your arsenal that a lot of racers don't have. Just keep it upright and I think and hope you keep getting faster and winning more. Thanks for doing this.
My new favorite channel. Love learning new aspects of the craft.. really great info you've shared so far.
Alberto, this was an accidental discovery and I am so glad to be a subscriber. Great content and great skill. Appreciate what you are doing here- keep going!
that wet cornering tip, that's golden
11:46 the theory in action
What a great race to watch and fortunately your broken bones didn't seem to affect you at all. I'm keen to watch the following races of 2019 and which you good look for your future outings.
Best video ever Naska.. OMG, what a great watch - 20mins+ just flew by. I love learning from your videos, everything is explained - the good and the bad. Carry on the great work and I wish you every success in your racing career 👍🏻
You certainly are inspiring Naska. Despite all challenges you never give up. Grazie tanto for the inspiration, for all your work in making these videos. You are really one of a kind. Your a fantastic rider, and especially in the wet too. Waw!!
Have a great season 👍👍👍
Bravo Naska for living your dream, I too wanted to be a racer I still haven't acheived this so it makes me very happy to see you on your journey bona fortuna brother, see you at the top!!!
Great video! Hats off to you for taking your valuable time to edit and post the video. I learned so much about wet racing that I can use! Thank you!
Hey get well soon man! Thanks for sharing in such great details, helps put things in perspective
no matter how hard, you always break the barrier..respect..very motivation
That was a great break down of a race and what a rider is thinking and strategizing.
Great videos and great personal character! You're fabulous Naska!
That feeling you had is called the "flow state".......it is awesome when it happens. Love your vids.
You're not kidding about waking up from that surgery. I had almost the same procedure done, they had to put a plate with hooks and tie my tendons back to it. Waking up from that hurt 10x worse than the motorcycle crash!
I'm 16 weeks post my crash right now. Broke my right clavicle in 2 places. I wish you luck and a speedy recovery. Mine is very stiff in the mornings, never broken a bone before. I am making progress through therapy though. My recommendation, make a log every week of what you're able to accomplish. It will help you stay focused on recovery and motivated a few months from now when you feel in the dumpster on downer days. edit: I see you're recovered now, I'm happy for you! Hopefully I can come back as strong as I once was in a few more months.
Wow Naskaa Broo😯You're so INSPIRATIONAL🎉Despite grave injuries you din give up😍09:29 Damn risky🙈 and I love your all video😍
That was actually amazing. Well done. Thanks for sharing!
Been following you since subtitles. I was even learning a bit of Italian. Lol

I love that you’re gonna go over everything!
Great video. Great riding in the rain. Love Palladinos style to speed up when overtaken 😂
You really know how to express emotions..!!
Love from India
Alberto, tough break with the last yellow coming out at the wrong time. I think you had it for sure! You did amazing! 2nd out of 24 riders is really impressive! Bravo!
Your videos are amazing, this is the pure essence of racing. Thanks for sharing, we felt we were with you in the race. Good luck my friend!

Thanks a lot of the video. Very good format. MotoGP level camera angles. Just loved being in the mind of a pro racer. Cheers..
I've been watching your videos in Italian with the subs on before you started this channel. Love it!
Great video and what a great story Naska, please keep it up.
Your draw my life story is very inspiring! Thank u for sharing!
Awesome race brother!!! Congratulations on the 2nd place finish!
Greeting from Malaysia
Great story on your recovery,Alberto..
I'm also having the same machine as yours but older..2015 Yamaha R1. Do come to Malaysia to feel the hot tempreture of Sepang. MotoGP test just finished last weekend
Love your videos. Keep up the good work, and great riding!
"Naska Rossi"! Very cool watching you over take all those guys
I love your videos! I learn so much. Thank you!
Great video. I love riding in the rain too. You don't need horsepower, you only need to go smooth. And in the wet, you can out run a Ducati 999 with only 35 hp.
Just WOW. Great job. Racing and documenting.
I don't know why despite being Italian, already knowing the story, I almost like your videos in English more than those in Italian. GREAT NASKA !!
Amazing accomplishment considering your injury and first wet race. BRAVO !!!
I really enjoy your videos by far. Thanks mate!
Great video. Enjoying the insiders perspective of racing.
Kid, you are sensational! Great on 2 wheels and humble! Go raggatzo!!!
Grazie Amici. Hello from Brooklyn New York these races are very inspiring I've been away from the track for four years and I'm coming back and it's been very good reminder of the techniques. Hope you're doing well wish me luck
Fantastic idea to bring this season of racing to the international channel! Bravo! I love the race commentary!
Great videos! You are real inspiration! I always try to find some ideas for my own videos here! Thanks, man!
I discovered you when you startet your first Motorbike racing season on your italian channel and loved your videos so much I didn't mind to read the subtitles.
With your new english chanel it's of course much easier, but somehow strange to hear your voice not in italian😅
Keep on the great work and best of luck to you for your future!!! Best motorcycle racing channel on the planet 👌🏼🤙🏼
Greetings from Germany
Very smooth on the throttle and big lines. Beautiful.
Very well-made video -- the intense drama really came through! Lesson learned -- expect more frequent yellow flags in wet conditions, which tips "Overtake now?" decisions a little further into the "Yes!" direction. I'm not a racer, but I am a year-round commuter (in north New Jersey, USA), often riding in rain, sleet, and snow. After experiencing a few wiggles while accelerating out of turns, I also learned that I must delay increasing the throttle until the bike is upright. Going into wet turns, I find I have more braking traction than one might expect, but I must take care to squeeze the front brake lever more slowly, to make sure I get more fork compression, hence more weight over the front tire before increasing front brake pressure, and use less rear and engine braking, which could cause a low-side crash if the rear tire slips out from under the bike. Much thanks for talking through your decision-making process and technique on the controls. The little details add up to make all of us better and safer riders!
sooo great! I could feel your emotions really nice ride man !
Great video, I hav the same caterpillar steel in my collarbone at the moment will remove next month. Love the wet ride narration and yes can agree it is actually less stressful riding in wet bcos have more time to think everything and surpirsing how fast can actually go, thks for sharing a
Love your Videos...I am in the USA but
ho vissuto in Italia per 2 anni vicino a pordenone. Keep up the awesome content! Ciao!
Dude it was for the first time I watched your video and I loved it from my heart it was a heartfelt video keep uploading in this channel love from India🇮🇳🖤I'm feel everything the same way you feel keep up with your work
Always Ride Safe, Welcome back bro. god bless you bro.
I am an avid fan of you...ride safe always idol...fan from Philippines...salute! Congrats
i just discovered this channel and I love it,good job
Very good and helpfull video. I was grabbing my table by watching the last laps. I know how it feels on the race track if u trying to overtake someone.
You are my inspiration dude😁😉 hope someday I could be like you.
Can't wait for the next one. Netflix should sign you up! Great story teller
I agree with ROLYATATAK. Watching this channel is like watching movies. Informational and so much fun. Well done...
Your videos are truly amazing! Much love from a fellow rider from Greece, Alberto!
İ love your racing videos and i finished both english and english subtitled ones in your italian channel. This is good news for me.Keep up the videos coming.Keep up the good work
Great Video Alberto!
I love to race in the wet, its different to a dry race but has a realy cool thrill the whole time. With a 675ccm Im used to a smooth style and in the wet you can realy feel and see the benefits to a 1000ccm rider thats always had on the throttle.
Every single video you make.. i really enjoyed it... stay safe always.. godspeed🤘
Love the content and the effort u put in
I broke my collarbone last year too. It was outpatient surgery so I was in and out the same day. But I see they had your arm moving right away. That might explain why you had so much pain. Mine was in a sling immediately and for two weeks straight. Pain was noticeable, but not unbearable with meds. Mine was left side like yours.
This one of the best part of your Excellence experience . Congratulations
