    Great suggestion on the vacuum pump - here's their blog: www.evcreate.nl/vacuum-pump-power-brakes/ I may use this as a temporary solution until I get electric assist brakes done for my project. Thanks for the great info! :)

      @@DalasEVRepair the early 1.5L turbos were awesome. The later 18L NA targa top were pretty much like the NX you have now only with pop up headlights.

    Very nice! Could you use the reverse gear on the manual transmission and select reverse on the Leaf drive to get a bonus forward gear? It'd be nice and noisy.

    Oh! It could have a nice bump in the hood like a Mitsubishi Eclipse (Gen 1 and 2). I loved my car for that and lots of other reasons.

    Moi Dala terve Excellent Forward and Reverse control panel, simple is always the best way to avoid over complicated controls. The KISS principle ( keep it simple stupid ) because in building controls trouble shooting can be difficult if you try to include everything. Kiitos From Ontario Canada Craig Clayton

    Looks like you will gonna be cutting a hood to make it work? What is your idea about it?

      He will tale the unit off and mount it on the right side. So the stock hood should fit.

      Actually in ep11 he mentioned about PDM relocation. I totally forgot about it.

    Why not go with the leaf break booster instead of retrofitting the old vacuum unit?

      The LEAF "intelligent brake booster" requires ABS control unit signals, along with so many sensors that nobody afaik has been willing to get it to play nicely. Easier to just fit a vacuum pump.

      @@DalasEVRepair this booster working on my EVX without anything) just +12V, ABS unit not installed at all.. But there is small regen because of it( Custom VCM will do much better!

    how many hours (circa) it took to make this conversion? Are you planning to add an OBC to it?

      Maybe 50-100hours? Didn't count 😅
      It already has an OBC!

      @@DalasEVRepair Sorry, I mean type 2 home charger. Also, do this ecu have some sort of "high voltage leak detection" protective circuit?

      Not road legal yet, but I drove it yesterday 😁 have other projects that are more urgent, so getting EVNX roadlegal is on the backburner!

    Hur har det gått med projektet? Hade varit kul att höra och se vad som hänt såhär 6 månader senare.
    Jag har länge drömt om att elkonvertera en Volvo Duett eller PV och det här verkar ju vara en relativt "enkel" lösning som tål att funderas över ;)

      Hej,
      Coilovers är nu monterade, väntar på lite mindre stress i garaget så ska jag fortsätta med EVNX.
      Ärvde faktiskt en Amazon förra året, kanske blir nästa projekt ;)
