    As an intermediate to advanced player myself, I really love that you show the sheet music as you play. The videos with "falling notes" are visually pleasing, but I can't follow along the same as I can with your videos.

      Yes, you're right, this wouldn't be to their taste! at all -- however, the slow movement (in this sonata) is perfect, I will play to them and see ...

      @Paul Barton - - ok !!! - - I hope you'll record & upload. You're a MAESTRO, Paul. What incredible muscle memory you have !!! I only studied from 8 till 14, but it gave me great music appreciation. My own personal muscle memory today is with yarn (crochet and sometimes knitting). Your family is charming. Please keep profiling them !!! 😁

      Not as early as I would have liked as my parents didn't have a piano at home when I was growing up. But I didn't let that stop me :)

    Supposedly Chopin was not very fond of Beethoven. But the beginning of his polonaise op. 44 maybe had some inspiration from this sonata.

    Can anyone tell me about the notes in 1:51 because I see WHITE sixteenth notes for the right hand (e flat). Is this correct? This is new to me, I learnt musical theory long time ago..

      It's 4 16th notes it's just written out..... So like if you see 8 white 16ths it's like 16 16th notes it just looks cleaner

      Connected half/whole notes means tremolo with the duration of a half/whole note. The number of lines indicates the speed of the tremolo.
