Gossip will be mostly on negative aspects of a person only . also,may not be true too.
Sometimes this will lead to disaster.
The person will commit suicide/ or depressed, if it crosses the limit.

It s believed that a fool is full of confidence and a wise is full of doubt. So it is easy for a confident fool to suppress a wise who is full of doubts and he uses gossip to achieve it - a wise always is vulnerable but a fool is thick skinned.
