That lean in at 4:12 had me smiling so big. She seems like a sweetheart and glad she’s happy.

Oh wow. In a former job as a museum archivist, I catalogued a large collection of Christenberry’s work. This is very cool.

It's why I got into antiques 35 years ago. This happens at least once a month if you know what to look for, and if you go to many different sales and auctions.

I loved the lady's "lean in" as she was hearing about the price...can't say that I wouldn't do the same. Beautiful pics, lovely pics of a simpler period long gone by.

The "31¢ gas" is hand written on an old Ford sign.
The other pic has Visa and MasterCard old names.

Collecting can depend on certain regions of the us, southern art like taking pictures of unique signs/old advertisement is always classic

i don't usually comment on these before i've finished watching... but five bucks a piece and it's being recorded for broadcast? not going to have any hurt feelings at the end of this one. that's for sure.

gasoline leapt from 30-something cents to a dollar in the '70s ... gas stations weren't prepared for the $1.00 level coz all their pumps had been built assuming a price that would never rise above 99 cents - there was no third digit!! oops!
