to discard a player, go to Market-> Find the player -> Click on him -> Click the sell BUTTON. There's gonna be a "Recycle" button

With Ballack, you showed a clip first of the half ending saying "Halftime", then you showed a clip and also saying that "right before the half Ballack got the perfect opportunity" and it showing the 33rd minute. Either you messed up the order of the clips or something fishy is going on.
