One thing that Waterson NC do well is coordination. They learned to do that when they were being zerged by the other empires. A lot of outfit leaders got together and started talking. They agreed to clean up Command Chat and as a result, they are able to call for reinforcements and get them. This might explain, in part, why the NC does well on that server in general.

Honestly, you whine waaaay too much. I'm TR too and it kinda makes the whole video eh to me. You gripe about the "unbearable zerg" but at multiple points you were only outpopped 55% - 45% and that's hardly horrifying odds, especially when defending the goddamn crown. You shoot real well and definitely have skills but whine about how the NC has none when they do the exact things you are - flanking and broadsiding unsuspecting targets. You win most of your 1 v 1's which, as a heavy, you should be doing, and I commend your skill for that. It was enjoyable gameplay to watch but seriously, cut the bitchin'. At the end, when "this was a definitive loss due to numbers...getting mopped off the crown by the much of an advantage..." the pop was 51% - 49% and had been so for the last 5-8 minutes. Give the NC their props. You played well but unfortunately this time the corporate boys played a little better On an unrelated note, I love the sound the bull makes, it's so damn hot

Oh by the way Oblivion the things they DIDN'T put in the patch notes were that voice commands are automatic. Ergo when you shoot friendlies it makes it so they automatically use the "Check Fire" so it wasn't the guy that was spamming it, it was the game. This also happens when people put down ammo, heal and so on and so forth.

This game looks so awesome. Amazing graphics, especially on the armour and weapons. The maps are huge, so you have lots of time to plan out tactics, set killstreak rewards etc. I've set it to download on Steam. Can't wait to play!

They're the exception, not the norm. I quit playing my NC on Waterson because continent populations were getting upwards of 60% and it was nearly impossible to find a fun, somewhat-even fight anywhere.
I find it funny how everyone always thinks the other guy is zerging. NC was out-manned 2-1 in this fight at the beginning and after that it was pretty evenly matched with a few percent bias to NC in the middle. Yeah, they brought numbers, but the TR did too. I would say the TR just didn't use their numbers effectively in the battle.
By zerg he's talking about the server player percentages- there were like twice the number of people in NC than there were in TR. Logically that means when the battle picks up there is going to be twice the number of NC than TR in that fight.
At 10:42 you put 20 rounds into an ally and it's "sorry dude." At 11:03 an ally puts 3 rounds into you and he's the "fuckin idiot." Well deserved pay back I say.

Question, is this game one of those free to pla games were you have to shell a lot of money to get pretty decent weapons to stand a chance against everyone else osr can you play the game without paying and still get some good kills with the stock weapons and level pretty decently?
You can get nearly everything in the game with just cert points (obtained by getting XP in the game). If you want you can pay for a shortcut to weapons or you can pay to get visual upgrades (cool helmets, camos ect. These aren't obtainable with cert points). The weapons aren't better or worse than any other weapon. They are simply better at what they were meant to be used for.

My and my brothers in arms did the same thing nearest base was 600 meters away no one could get out so when had to wait for reinforcements as there were around 60 of us and 100 of them on both teams vanu and nc we fought and we died but we defended it
Did the merge with Matherson balance things out? I heard that Matherson has VS as their dominant faction, not sure what the current Emerald landscape is like.
VS rapes everything on Emerald. NC is zerg fest with PHX and GOON. TR doesn't do shit and always has AOD zerg every base they go to, letting VS win almost every alert.
what gun are you using most of the time in this vid at the beginning? oh only after 4 minutes really realized you play as terran. it'S like playing with a cheat code, no recoil. NC, we have the shittiest useless equipment but still strangely have the most fun playing :)
The first weapon was the NS-11C, available to all 3 factions. After that I used the T-32 Bull. NC's equipment is fine for me, the recoil is controllable and able to be predicted. Most of TR guns have a horizontal jitter that completely negates the ability to compensate via mouse movement. Should give it a shot, try kitting out a Gauss Saw with advanced grip then do the same with the T9 Carv. I guarantee you'll be unable to hit things at range well while using Carv.

Back when there really could be epic crown zerg defense you wouldn't be able to even leave the tower because of so many people and vehicles raining fire on it.
Expect to die. A Lot. This is a game entirely based off that concept. Death is meaningless, just an inconvenience. Embrace it when it happens and you'll do better, it is a learning tool. Best thing you can do as a new player is to play Engineer. Drop ammo, repair maxes, vehicles, get your repair gun upgraded and your nanoweave or flak armor. Earn certs to fuel your other ambitions. Engineer also allows you to use vehicles effectively.
I hate how NC zerg’s. One match on Hossin, they had gotten kicked back to surrounding regions around their warp gate in the south. Yet they mustered up 96+ for a take over on a bio lab. 96+ in a cramped damn bio lab, that was way too unnecessary.

I only have one camo ever bought for infantry and that's the white. imma whatcha call lazy to small details like switching from esmir to indar and switching camos to on or off. just not gonna happen. so either its on or its not. when its off, ill be on esimir for 4 hours and I turn on the white camo to help, then 5mins later I switch to amerish or indar. Most the time I run around as br100 with no camo, unless my buddies on who only uses his white camo everywhere he goes. then I really don't care if im on indar with white, cause the other white guy still giving up my position, lol

the "zerg" was not at the crown apparently, you complain in the video that there are too many there but i didnt notice on the map a time when you were severely out populated, in fact most of the fight your numbers were higher than the nc.
I R YODA The controls are pretty good, if you mess with the different sensitivity sliders, but it's really hard to aim at moving targets with a controller in general. I wonder why there are so many shooters on those consoles, and how people can play them without getting hand cramps from all the clenching

Sometimes i regret choosing the nc when i started the game...it's not that i don't like the faction (i really like the weapons specifics, even if i think the high recoil is a pain)...what i don't like are most of the people who play nc. I play on cobalt and almost every nc player seems to be good only for zerg...seriously, most of them can only walk straight towards the enemy trying to shoot and they don't even bother if they're flanked...it's so frustrating...
I know, it seems like most of NC can't handle capturing large facilities. I currently play as an NC infiltrator, and I still generally get more kills than our heavies at close range. I hear all these people complaining about how "underpowered" TR is, yet who get's locked out of continents? Who loses battles with 5/1 odds in their favor? The NC, not TR. We may have better stats for our weapons, but the cooperation of our faction as a whole is pitiful at times. Not to say that it isn't a good faction, but we just can't seems to hold on to our bases. I'm still considering playing as a TR for a while, just to see how well the players cooperate. The only drawback would be losing all of my hard-earned certs, and my NC-specific skins. Besides, where would the game be if players simply defected to the winning side... oh, right... they already do. Thanks for reading this ridiculously long rant! I suppose the point of all this was to say, don't just defect to the winning side, too many people are doing it already.
Equilibrium Vortex Yea, the TR's strength isn't numbers or good guns. It's good communication, even faction wide communication. If you are in a tactical outfit (which I am) you won't have the mountainous zerging often.
He would love collision detection? Are you kidding? that is one of the worst mechanics in high player density FPS games. In CQC everyone would be bouncing off of teammates just trying to move. The little amount of times an infiltrator runs right through is not worth collision detection hell.

You can play without ever paying.

your weapon choice is pretty good I prefer the assault rifle for the medic class :)

T-32 Bull I believe. Flexible, great at range, fast reload, ok mag size. Fire rate a tiny bit slow but makes up for it with great hip fire accuracy.

I only have one camo ever bought for infantry and that's the white. imma whatcha call lazy to small details like switching from esmir to indar and switching camos to on or off. just not gonna happen. so either its on or its not. when its off, ill be on esimir for 4 hours and I turn on the white camo to help, then 5mins later I switch to amerish or indar. Most the time I run around as br100 with no camo, unless my buddies on who only uses his white camo everywhere he goes. then I really don't care if im on indar with white, cause the other white guy still giving up my position, lol
this is hell.... I am bad at shooter, so this is a real hell -_-

so i was thinking about downloading this game and how many players can play on 1 map, and is there every a chance of a faction taking over the whole world/ or whatever is up with those continents?

the "zerg" was not at the crown apparently, you complain in the video that there are too many there but i didnt notice on the map a time when you were severely out populated, in fact most of the fight your numbers were higher than the nc.

its okay the controls could of been better in my opinion
I R YODA The controls are pretty good, if you mess with the different sensitivity sliders, but it's really hard to aim at moving targets with a controller in general. I wonder why there are so many shooters on those consoles, and how people can play them without getting hand cramps from all the clenching

I don't know how I feel about AV mines on sundies, one person with enough firepower to take a sundy down by himself, but then again, people should fucking try and defend the sundies but noone ever does...

Sometimes i regret choosing the nc when i started the game...it's not that i don't like the faction (i really like the weapons specifics, even if i think the high recoil is a pain)...what i don't like are most of the people who play nc. I play on cobalt and almost every nc player seems to be good only for zerg...seriously, most of them can only walk straight towards the enemy trying to shoot and they don't even bother if they're flanked...it's so frustrating...
I know, it seems like most of NC can't handle capturing large facilities. I currently play as an NC infiltrator, and I still generally get more kills than our heavies at close range. I hear all these people complaining about how "underpowered" TR is, yet who get's locked out of continents? Who loses battles with 5/1 odds in their favor? The NC, not TR. We may have better stats for our weapons, but the cooperation of our faction as a whole is pitiful at times. Not to say that it isn't a good faction, but we just can't seems to hold on to our bases. I'm still considering playing as a TR for a while, just to see how well the players cooperate. The only drawback would be losing all of my hard-earned certs, and my NC-specific skins. Besides, where would the game be if players simply defected to the winning side... oh, right... they already do.
Thanks for reading this ridiculously long rant! I suppose the point of all this was to say, don't just defect to the winning side, too many people are doing it already.
Equilibrium Vortex Yea, the TR's strength isn't numbers or good guns. It's good communication, even faction wide communication. If you are in a tactical outfit (which I am) you won't have the mountainous zerging often.

He would love collision detection? Are you kidding? that is one of the worst mechanics in high player density FPS games. In CQC everyone would be bouncing off of teammates just trying to move. The little amount of times an infiltrator runs right through is not worth collision detection hell.

Ian corey It is a 2x scope, I prefer it on most weapons unless the rate of fire is extremely high. The scopes have been changed since this video, however, but they are mostly the same.
I can't seem to find the scope on TR light assault...
