For Superman, they need to put the launch in a pipe or something to reduce the noise. It just flat out makes that entire area of the park unpleasant. Full Throttle needs a better theme. X2 already has the "extreme theme" which isn't a strong theme to begin with. Scream could also benefit from a little scenery. A movie tie in would be nice, but make it generic enough that it doesn't need to be stripped out when the licensing agreement runs out, similar to the transition from Terminator to Apocalypse.
@@Anonymous_Identity246 that makes sense. I can see both of those being too loud for some guests. Me, personally, I kind of enjoy it, as it makes those rides more “intimidating”. But I also know that some people are sensitive to that level of noise. Superman is legitimately the loudest ride I have ever heard. Riddler’s’ B&M roar I think is more sustainable, as multiple B&M rides sound like that, but if there is a way to reduce the decibel levels, I think it would ultimately be worth it for the general happiness of a lot of guests.
I would like to see X2 get its audio and flame throwers working consistently. That just adds to the already insane experience. I also think they should remove Whistle Stop Park since it’s never busy and build a new log ride there as an extension of Bugs Bunny World, give it a Yosemite Sam theme and bring back the name, Yosemite Sam Sierra Falls.

Quick note. Viper is not a arrow custom looper. It’s actually a arrow mega looper model and is the only one in operation today. There were previous mega loopers like the American scream machine at six flags great adventure. Because viper is the last mega looper in operation, I think they want try too keep it as long as possible to keep the mega looper model known to the world for longer
Yes I know, the triple Arrow Mega Looper left Viper to be the last one standing. Since the three aren't exactly clones, they each have custom layouts (even though they are extremely similar) which is why I refer to it as a custom looper. I want Viper to stay around for as long as possible as well!
Awsome ideas! I think it would be awsome to renovate Samurai summit like adding paper lanterns around the walkway and dragon statues Also at night they can turn on the paper lanterns and put projections of dragons or spirits. Also the Dragon resturant needs to come back!

It always puzzled me that people jizzed their pants for Medusa and always crapped on Scream. Like... it get it that the parking lot is ugly, but it's the SAME RIDE.
I agree that Apocalypse needs a retheme. I think a hotrod/ratrod theme would be pretty cool. They could even have rockabilly and psychobilly music playing throughout the queue and the ride it self. Trains could each be themed to classic custom cars like 32' Ford Roadsters.
I just think they should rename the ride back to terminator salvation and put back all the original theming. I’m 13 years old and I never say the original experience but I’ve seen stuff about it and it looks awsome so if I saw it irl it would be very cool

I think.that would clash with "the underground" theming of that area. The undeground theme was a way to reconcile the street racing theme of west coast racers and the apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic theme of apocalypse. If they change apocalypse theming, they will have to change the theming of that entire area of the park

My theory as to why apocalypse didn’t have the TVs and preshow is because the storyline was during a shootout but (I shit you not) they themed it to a virus in late 2019. That is why I think they turned it off (because the virus was real)
Hoping viper stays around for a long while. She received a decent upgrade in 2019 that included computer systems, brakes, and catwalks. Mk1200 trains would also be a great alternative Quick edit: apparently it also got some welding work where the track pieces bolt together.
Yes! I would love to see Viper receive the same treatment that Ninja at SFOG received when it was turned into Blue Hawk. I also feel that this is a much more realistic upgrade, considering that Six Flags has already made this type of investment with another one of their parks already.

I feel Viper needs to go. SFMM can better invest in a giga Coaster 300-350 feet in its place. If your going to keep VIPER, at the very least Repaint it. The Red paint looks like a faded Pink. The Orange and Green they gave to Tatsu is what they should have given to VIPER.
I believe Viper should get a retrack like you were saying the retrack would make the ride smoother, and the experience would be a 💯 time better. I wish the defunct Vortex at Kings Island could have gotten a retrack instead of it being removed.

Another option for Viper would be new trains with vest OTSR, similar to what Six Flags Over Georgia's Ninja turned Blue Hawk got a few years ago. I could see Twisted Colossus getting mid-course upgrade and improving dueling frequency.
If Viper got Chance Morgan trains with lap bars, I feel like it will automatically be a significantly better ride. Just like when Revolution got its OTSRs removed, it's popularity went up significantly. Even after VR was discontinued.
I think with Viper they should re-profile that first loop to be bigger. It would be sick to have a larger loop for the first one. As for the observation deck, I'm in the opinion that in order to repair it they would need to close Tatsu and why close a great busy ride for that of a observation ride? Personally, I think they should re theme the observation deck to be like the Stratosphere and have a rotating floor restaurant at the top with the history displays. Then it could be a nice addition to the park.
Yes, Viper would benefit from reprofiling its loops, as it is a little too intense and harsh of a moment for some people, as it kinda snals your neck forward going into it, and pulls a lot of G's. It wouldn't be the first time it got reprofiled either. I wouldn't mind Tatsu being closed temporarily. They could even use that opportunity to give Tatsu a minor refurbishment or repaint (it's been getting very rattly lately). As long as they close it during a time with low attendance, like in September.

i was thinking about it and they really should do a repaint on a couple of the rides as well because for example twisted colossus is aging visually very fast and the paintjob has really deteriorated compared to another rmc in the california region joker which is my homepark and it is completely bright and beaming with the same neon green but a purple side as well. the repaint should be done for twisted and some others
Well, Batman: The Ride is actually currently receiving a new paint job, and the park has actually been doing a pretty good job at repainting rides every few years. In the past 6 years, we've seen new paint on Scream, Helpful Honda, New Revolution, Riddler's, the Scrambler, Road Runner Express, Batman now, and even a retrack on Apocalypse!
The observation station will never come back. They did a survey a few years ago and it only got maybe 5% of people saying they would go up into it if they repaired it. And its just not worth the time and money that they would have to put into it. they got a raptor coming in so they gotta focus on that
To be honest, Superman does need that Upgrade bad.... Also Scream would be better if they get rid of the Raddle, they need to redo some track on scream to become popular again

Yup they were and the ride is running very great now! I did think of this upgrade a few weeks before we knew the LSMs were replaced, but either way, the ride's LSMs are still the same type as the ones before, just newer. Would still love to see the upgrade; at least make one side go forward again 😄

Yes!! I agree all the way!!! Many want the tower back, I got to go on it the last summer it was open. Honestly many thing I don’t see going on for 10 more years. Especially with the new house developments going in the back. They need to stop buying parks, sell the one that under perform and focus on the park on details, theming and open to the idea of having more family ride and body type. I’m too big for the maturity of ride now that there’s no point on going to the park on my day off.
When it comes to Magic Mountain, Six Flags cares the most about just adding coasters in order to have more than Cedar Point and to keep the world record. But in terms of experience, they are sacrificing some quality and I feel that they should try balancing quantity and quality a bit better.
@@M-NL2 yes and that (and other things ) I hate about the company. Yes records are nice but in the long run it’s not everything when half of the ride are not running for numbers of reason. Like X2 when it’s windy or rainy that ride will be 99% close. Batman will be down for a while (unless I hear wrong) and the list goes on. The hard part about re-tracking Viper is that Arrow welded all of their mega loopers into one big piece. So if Morgan came in they would literally have to replace the entire ride after the first drop. Viper is literally my third favorite coaster in the park after Twisted Collosus and X2. I grew up with KI as my home park and Vortex was my jam! So when I moved to Valencia 13 years ago, Viper was pretty much my arrow mega looper replacement. I know it's not going to last much longer but I am taking advantage of it while we have it.
Yeah, it would be a bit of a stretch to retrack the entire coaster, but I think it would at least be a benefit to give it the same treatment that Ninja/Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia received, with its upgraded trains!
From what I've seen, most of the hate for scream is linked to the lack of terrain as it is referred to as a parking lot coaster. That has nothing to do with the coaster. The Scream is a good ride. Blame Six flags for their lack of imagination when it comes to landscaping
It's pretty forceful and intense, pulling around 4 Gs. sitting in the back on an edge seat will give some very snappy whip over the zero g roll, cobra roll, and the corkscrews. Also, the parking lot doesn't affect the actual ride and I don't see the parking lot as a reason to say that the ride is awful. Overall, it is a very powerful coaster that is hated on way too much.

They should RMC Goliath if that was a thing. Strip all the Giovanola track off and replace it with T-Rex track, turn the shallow 60° drop into a 90° drop. That ride would go crazy!!!

1:25 That's me! Anyways, I agree with all of this, especially about the Sky Tower. It's a shame that the park just has this icon just rotting away. To me, that's like having Spaceship Earth be shut down. Yeah, the ball would still be there and it would look the same, but it's so much cooler to know that people up there. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with all your mentions of theming. I understand that Six Flags has a different goal and different ideas when it comes to stuff like theming. That works for all the other parks in the chain, but Magic Mountain really needs to push harder, being the flagship park. Plus, when your competitors are literally all fully immersive, highly themed parks that people come from all over the world to see - as well as the fact that you are that close to Hollywood, where elaborate sets are built on a regular basis, there's really no excuse to not use all of that talent to bring the park up to the level of the other parks. I say that connection with Warner Bros needs to start paying off a little better. I'm not saying to give every ride a character or an IP, but I am saying to use some of their set designers to give people something more than just an outdoor line or a box to stand in. That, plus having actual unique lands would make navigating the park a lot easier.
The park used to do so much better when it came to theming! I remember when screampunk district was so much more immersive when it was brand new, but that was pretty short lived. Green Lantern first flight had one of the best themed queues in the park, as well as Terminator Salvation. Full Throttle used to feature impressive lights projected on its vertical loop every night, as well as lasers and other hyped theming. X2 utilized fire, fog, and audio, but nowadays we are lucky just to have audio working. It seems that Magic Mountain just doesn't do a good job at upkeeping all of these special effects; they have cool ideas and execute them pretty well, but they are just short lived, so as time goes on, the experience gets less exciting.

I doubt they would put one forward and one backwards because of line management. But they might have 2 “regular” ones racing each other with more people via those upgraded LSMs
Bizarro was used on a coaster at Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great Adventure. Also, I'm sure not a lot of people knew who Lex Luthor was either. In terms of the lines, both sides of the track have a separate queue once you get inside the fortress of solitude, so I feel like it could still work. Nonetheless I really want to see both sides simultaneously used again!

About Superman escape from krypton. They need to figure out the sound problem. When your in the Goliath area it is super loud. Plus some people don’t like loud sounds.
It's not exactly something they can just fix. They could experiment with different types of wheels, the main thing that causes the loud sound is the hollow track. Some modern roller coasters are filled with sand to dampen the sound made by the passing trains. However, the sand is added before the track is even assembled on the ride so this wouldn't really be very possible.
I think due to california regulations. Half of these revamps can't happen. Used to be so awesome out here until everyone started raising whimps instead of warriors.
I thought Viper was getting axed, but then they put new trains on it and I feel like that means the park wants to keep it around for a while. When TC opened, the park made a point to say that they chose not to program the trains to wait for each other because they wanted higher capacity instead.
They could easily retheme apocalypse to be more like Mad Max or Twisted Metal. Still in line with the racing theme but more true to the aesthetic of the existing theming. I love the superman idea a lot. The biggest thing I agree with though are the scream comments. I just rode it for the first time in a few years yesterday and its ALOT more enjoyable than I remember it being. It getting some theming and being less of a parking lot coaster would in my opinion increase the GPs enjoyment of the ride even more.

In a perfect world where MM is run by me I’d replace Batman with an original BM invert, turn Riddlers into a floorless, get rid of scream, and add a giga where scream is. Remove viper and put up those intamin three launch coasters with the spike and replace Goliath with a modern hyper .
They should relocate Scream to St.Louis or over Texas and build a B&M dive Coaster. This would also come with a 2nd gate for the park which is much needed. With Apocalypse a rethemed to a abandoned Junkyard but with sick Car-themed trains. The name would be Cyclonus. Love the Superman Idea and with Viper they should try to bring in the trains like the ones used on Canyon Blaster in Adventuredome. Relocate Tatsu’s entrance up the hill in Samari Summit with a new color scheme. Also add more Coke refill stations like other six flags parks, the food lines are ridiculous.
A dive coaster would be cool to see in the future, however if they were to replace a coaster, it's most likely gonna be Viper. But either way, Six Flags hasn't worked with B&M in years, except for the stand up to floorless conversion. Also I would rather keep my beloved Scream 👀

For Apocalypse’s preshow, I blame the pandemic for its turned off screens. Can’t have crowding, especially in indoor buildings. They’ll most likely bring it back once everything blows over.
Except, those screens and pre show were mostly unused before the closure too. What I miss was when a small group of people was let in the first showroom and close the doors, where we could then learn the storyline and what's going on, all filmed at sfmm at the actual ride. Then after the first part was over the group is led to the next room where the animatronics were and the rest of the show. It was super immersive and added to the ride significantly. And then of course there was the on ride audio, tunnel lights, fog, and flamethrower. This ride used to be so much more. Nowadays, it's just a wooden roller coaster.
Also remember with the observation deck is Earth Quakes. I remember Northridge did some serious damage to the area so I wonder for Six Flags that they don't re-open this simply due to that reason.
Well, if the tower is standing perfectly fine, I doubt there are major damages. It's just an elevator too, so using the attraction doesn't put much stress on the structure. Either way, proper maintenance and inspections would have to be done on it prior to reopening it if Six Flags ever decided to do so.
@@M-NL2 well I think it's a matter of why open it if the public won't utilize it, it's a matter of economics and funding. you get a larger return on investment by building a roller coaster. BUT after a year like this last year, a simple investment versus none like a refurbishment of the observation deck maybe more cost effective. I still think a restaurant at the top is the way to go. better return in the long run.
@@markjensen7091 Yeah I have always wanted to see like a restaurant or a lounge, or if they really want to, a bar at the top to spark some extra interest in the public to hopefully increase the popularity of the attraction to account for the somewhat large investment. However, as you said, if they were to just reopen it the way it is right now, I doubt it would be a popular attraction worth the upgrade economically.

I would like RMC to come back and finish Twisted Colossus. Bring back the two missing large turn arounds and “fun run” which featured the double dip. If Magic Mountain gets an RMC raptor, theme it to the flash or cyborg. For some reason I think Tatsu would be badass with a Dark Knight theme. Twisted Colossus could be Joker and Harley Quinn.
One of my NoLimits 2 concepts features the raptor themed to Flash. Cyborg would actually be pretty unique to, as we haven't seen a Cyborg coaster yet. As for Tatsu and TC, neither of them reside in DC universe, plus they are both already a part of different themed areas of the park. I love Screampunk district and would personally hate to see it rethemed to DC. That's just me though!
I think a Wild Mouse would be perfect to be where Log Jammer was. RIP Log Jammer and RIP Original wooden Colossus. They will be missed by millions. They will be adding an RMC Raptor I heard in 2022 where GLFF was.
SFMM could really use a modern family coaster, and tbh, I kinda wanna see something like a Vekoma Family boomerang, maybe in the spot that Deja Vu used to occupy, or to replace Whistlestop park so that it is closer to the kid section of the park. The sky tower should be upgraded since this is the 50th anniversary of Magic Mountain and it is one of the original rides.

Quick note. Viper is not a arrow custom looper. It’s actually a arrow mega looper model and is the only one in operation today. There were previous mega loopers like the American scream machine at six flags great adventure. Because viper is the last mega looper in operation, I think they want try too keep it as long as possible to keep the mega looper model known to the world for longer
Yes I know, the triple Arrow Mega Looper left Viper to be the last one standing. Since the three aren't exactly clones, they each have custom layouts (even though they are extremely similar) which is why I refer to it as a custom looper. I want Viper to stay around for as long as possible as well!

@@Joeyfordayz2301 The issue with that is all the licensing they have to re-acquire to use the Terminator branding, It costs alottt of money SF isn't willing to spend. When they went bankrupt, this was something they had no problem clean slating, sadly I don't think it would come back.

I think.that would clash with "the underground" theming of that area. The undeground theme was a way to reconcile the street racing theme of west coast racers and the apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic theme of apocalypse. If they change apocalypse theming, they will have to change the theming of that entire area of the park

My theory as to why apocalypse didn’t have the TVs and preshow is because the storyline was during a shootout but (I shit you not) they themed it to a virus in late 2019. That is why I think they turned it off (because the virus was real)

Yes! I would love to see Viper receive the same treatment that Ninja at SFOG received when it was turned into Blue Hawk. I also feel that this is a much more realistic upgrade, considering that Six Flags has already made this type of investment with another one of their parks already.

Another option for Viper would be new trains with vest OTSR, similar to what Six Flags Over Georgia's Ninja turned Blue Hawk got a few years ago.

If Viper got Chance Morgan trains with lap bars, I feel like it will automatically be a significantly better ride. Just like when Revolution got its OTSRs removed, it's popularity went up significantly. Even after VR was discontinued.

I think with Viper they should re-profile that first loop to be bigger. It would be sick to have a larger loop for the first one. As for the observation deck, I'm in the opinion that in order to repair it they would need to close Tatsu and why close a great busy ride for that of a observation ride? Personally, I think they should re theme the observation deck to be like the Stratosphere and have a rotating floor restaurant at the top with the history displays. Then it could be a nice addition to the park.
Yes, Viper would benefit from reprofiling its loops, as it is a little too intense and harsh of a moment for some people, as it kinda snals your neck forward going into it, and pulls a lot of G's. It wouldn't be the first time it got reprofiled either. I wouldn't mind Tatsu being closed temporarily. They could even use that opportunity to give Tatsu a minor refurbishment or repaint (it's been getting very rattly lately). As long as they close it during a time with low attendance, like in September.

i was thinking about it and they really should do a repaint on a couple of the rides as well because for example twisted colossus is aging visually very fast and the paintjob has really deteriorated compared to another rmc in the california region joker which is my homepark and it is completely bright and beaming with the same neon green but a purple side as well. the repaint should be done for twisted and some others
Well, Batman: The Ride is actually currently receiving a new paint job, and the park has actually been doing a pretty good job at repainting rides every few years. In the past 6 years, we've seen new paint on Scream, Helpful Honda, New Revolution, Riddler's, the Scrambler, Road Runner Express, Batman now, and even a retrack on Apocalypse!

The observation station will never come back. They did a survey a few years ago and it only got maybe 5% of people saying they would go up into it if they repaired it. And its just not worth the time and money that they would have to put into it. they got a raptor coming in so they gotta focus on that

Yup they were and the ride is running very great now! I did think of this upgrade a few weeks before we knew the LSMs were replaced, but either way, the ride's LSMs are still the same type as the ones before, just newer. Would still love to see the upgrade; at least make one side go forward again 😄

Yes!! I agree all the way!!! Many want the tower back, I got to go on it the last summer it was open. Honestly many thing I don’t see going on for 10 more years. Especially with the new house developments going in the back. They need to stop buying parks, sell the one that under perform and focus on the park on details, theming and open to the idea of having more family ride and body type. I’m too big for the maturity of ride now that there’s no point on going to the park on my day off.
When it comes to Magic Mountain, Six Flags cares the most about just adding coasters in order to have more than Cedar Point and to keep the world record. But in terms of experience, they are sacrificing some quality and I feel that they should try balancing quantity and quality a bit better.
@@M-NL2 yes and that (and other things ) I hate about the company. Yes records are nice but in the long run it’s not everything when half of the ride are not running for numbers of reason. Like X2 when it’s windy or rainy that ride will be 99% close. Batman will be down for a while (unless I hear wrong) and the list goes on. Sometime I wonder if they do their research and go visit other non six Flags parks just to see what work and what they can do better at their parks. But that just me

The hard part about re-tracking Viper is that Arrow welded all of their mega loopers into one big piece. So if Morgan came in they would literally have to replace the entire ride after the first drop. Viper is literally my third favorite coaster in the park after Twisted Collosus and X2.
I grew up with KI as my home park and Vortex was my jam! So when I moved to Valencia 13 years ago, Viper was pretty much my arrow mega looper replacement. I know it's not going to last much longer but I am taking advantage of it while we have it.
Yeah, it would be a bit of a stretch to retrack the entire coaster, but I think it would at least be a benefit to give it the same treatment that Ninja/Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia received, with its upgraded trains!

From what I've seen, most of the hate for scream is linked to the lack of terrain as it is referred to as a parking lot coaster. That has nothing to do with the coaster. The Scream is a good ride. Blame Six flags for their lack of imagination when it comes to landscaping
There’s just nothing that stands out about scream. It isn’t as thrilling as the other rides and it’s a parking lot coaster
It's pretty forceful and intense, pulling around 4 Gs. sitting in the back on an edge seat will give some very snappy whip over the zero g roll, cobra roll, and the corkscrews. Also, the parking lot doesn't affect the actual ride and I don't see the parking lot as a reason to say that the ride is awful. Overall, it is a very powerful coaster that is hated on way too much.

1:25 That's me! Anyways, I agree with all of this, especially about the Sky Tower. It's a shame that the park just has this icon just rotting away. To me, that's like having Spaceship Earth be shut down. Yeah, the ball would still be there and it would look the same, but it's so much cooler to know that people up there. Also, I agree wholeheartedly with all your mentions of theming. I understand that Six Flags has a different goal and different ideas when it comes to stuff like theming. That works for all the other parks in the chain, but Magic Mountain really needs to push harder, being the flagship park. Plus, when your competitors are literally all fully immersive, highly themed parks that people come from all over the world to see - as well as the fact that you are that close to Hollywood, where elaborate sets are built on a regular basis, there's really no excuse to not use all of that talent to bring the park up to the level of the other parks. I say that connection with Warner Bros needs to start paying off a little better. I'm not saying to give every ride a character or an IP, but I am saying to use some of their set designers to give people something more than just an outdoor line or a box to stand in. That, plus having actual unique lands would make navigating the park a lot easier.
The park used to do so much better when it came to theming! I remember when screampunk district was so much more immersive when it was brand new, but that was pretty short lived. Green Lantern first flight had one of the best themed queues in the park, as well as Terminator Salvation. Full Throttle used to feature impressive lights projected on its vertical loop every night, as well as lasers and other hyped theming. X2 utilized fire, fog, and audio, but nowadays we are lucky just to have audio working. It seems that Magic Mountain just doesn't do a good job at upkeeping all of these special effects; they have cool ideas and execute them pretty well, but they are just short lived, so as time goes on, the experience gets less exciting.

I think it would be pretty cool to see a Superman vs Bizzaro BUT I don’t think many people know who Bizzaro is, I didn’t when I first heard it from you. I doubt they would put one forward and one backwards because of line management. But they might have 2 “regular” ones racing each other with more people via those upgraded LSMs
Bizarro was used on a coaster at Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great Adventure. Also, I'm sure not a lot of people knew who Lex Luthor was either. In terms of the lines, both sides of the track have a separate queue once you get inside the fortress of solitude, so I feel like it could still work. Nonetheless I really want to see both sides simultaneously used again!

About Superman escape from krypton. They need to figure out the sound problem. When your in the Goliath area it is super loud. Plus some people don’t like loud sounds.
It's not exactly something they can just fix. They could experiment with different types of wheels, the main thing that causes the loud sound is the hollow track. Some modern roller coasters are filled with sand to dampen the sound made by the passing trains. However, the sand is added before the track is even assembled on the ride so this wouldn't really be very possible.
I think due to california regulations. Half of these revamps can't happen. Used to be so awesome out here until everyone started raising whimps instead of warriors.

I thought Viper was getting axed, but then they put new trains on it and I feel like that means the park wants to keep it around for a while.
When TC opened, the park made a point to say that they chose not to program the trains to wait for each other because they wanted higher capacity instead.
They could easily retheme apocalypse to be more like Mad Max or Twisted Metal. Still in line with the racing theme but more true to the aesthetic of the existing theming. I love the superman idea a lot. The biggest thing I agree with though are the scream comments. I just rode it for the first time in a few years yesterday and its ALOT more enjoyable than I remember it being. It getting some theming and being less of a parking lot coaster would in my opinion increase the GPs enjoyment of the ride even more.

In a perfect world where MM is run by me I’d replace Batman with an original BM invert, turn Riddlers into a floorless, get rid of scream, and add a giga where scream is. Remove viper and put up those intamin three launch coasters with the spike and replace Goliath with a modern hyper .
They should relocate Scream to St.Louis or over Texas and build a B&M dive Coaster. This would also come with a 2nd gate for the park which is much needed. With Apocalypse a rethemed to a abandoned Junkyard but with sick Car-themed trains. The name would be Cyclonus. Love the Superman Idea and with Viper they should try to bring in the trains like the ones used on Canyon Blaster in Adventuredome. Relocate Tatsu’s entrance up the hill in Samari Summit with a new color scheme. Also add more Coke refill stations like other six flags parks, the food lines are ridiculous.
A dive coaster would be cool to see in the future, however if they were to replace a coaster, it's most likely gonna be Viper. But either way, Six Flags hasn't worked with B&M in years, except for the stand up to floorless conversion. Also I would rather keep my beloved Scream 👀

For Apocalypse’s preshow, I blame the pandemic for its turned off screens. Can’t have crowding, especially in indoor buildings. They’ll most likely bring it back once everything blows over.
Except, those screens and pre show were mostly unused before the closure too. What I miss was when a small group of people was let in the first showroom and close the doors, where we could then learn the storyline and what's going on, all filmed at sfmm at the actual ride. Then after the first part was over the group is led to the next room where the animatronics were and the rest of the show. It was super immersive and added to the ride significantly. And then of course there was the on ride audio, tunnel lights, fog, and flamethrower.
This ride used to be so much more. Nowadays, it's just a wooden roller coaster.
Also remember with the observation deck is Earth Quakes. I remember Northridge did some serious damage to the area so I wonder for Six Flags that they don't re-open this simply due to that reason.
Well, if the tower is standing perfectly fine, I doubt there are major damages. It's just an elevator too, so using the attraction doesn't put much stress on the structure. Either way, proper maintenance and inspections would have to be done on it prior to reopening it if Six Flags ever decided to do so.
@@M-NL2 well I think it's a matter of why open it if the public won't utilize it, it's a matter of economics and funding. you get a larger return on investment by building a roller coaster. BUT after a year like this last year, a simple investment versus none like a refurbishment of the observation deck maybe more cost effective. I still think a restaurant at the top is the way to go. better return in the long run.
@@markjensen7091 Yeah I have always wanted to see like a restaurant or a lounge, or if they really want to, a bar at the top to spark some extra interest in the public to hopefully increase the popularity of the attraction to account for the somewhat large investment. However, as you said, if they were to just reopen it the way it is right now, I doubt it would be a popular attraction worth the upgrade economically.

I would like RMC to come back and finish Twisted Colossus. Bring back the two missing large turn arounds and “fun run” which featured the double dip. I would not mind using the gimmicky möbius loop feature for this.

If Magic Mountain gets an RMC raptor, theme it to the flash or cyborg. For some reason I think Tatsu would be badass with a Dark Knight theme. Twisted Colossus could be Joker and Harley Quinn.
One of my NoLimits 2 concepts features the raptor themed to Flash. Cyborg would actually be pretty unique to, as we haven't seen a Cyborg coaster yet. As for Tatsu and TC, neither of them reside in DC universe, plus they are both already a part of different themed areas of the park. I love Screampunk district and would personally hate to see it rethemed to DC. That's just me though!
I think a Wild Mouse would be perfect to be where Log Jammer was. RIP Log Jammer and RIP Original wooden Colossus. They will be missed by millions. They will be adding an RMC Raptor I heard in 2022 where GLFF was.
SFMM could really use a modern family coaster, and tbh, I kinda wanna see something like a Vekoma Family boomerang, maybe in the spot that Deja Vu used to occupy, or to replace Whistlestop park so that it is closer to the kid section of the park. And about the raptor, I have also recently released a video talking about the RMC raptor, as trains for it were recently spotted at the park!
