My first run-through of Snowgrave upset me...left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Now I ADORE this route. The intensity, the darkness of it, the sheer terror in knowing that Berdly is likely NOT coming back. It all is so amazing, and the music. Also the Spamton fight. It's a challenge, and I love it.
Edit: i've noticed the head difference but never really questioned it

I actually got that music glitch before, the one you got at the final scene! (Granted, it wasn't at the end of the game like you, that was just really good luck or really bad luck, depending on who you ask) It's some kind of glitch that happens when you transition from one location to another that requires the music to change. On rare occasions, the game will just... forget to stop the previous music in order for the new music to play.
For me, this happened when I heard Welcome to the City for the first time. It overlapped with the previous track and the only way I could get it to stop was to save my game and close it out, then open the game again. However, since you were at the final cutscene when it started happening, I can see how you couldn't really do that lol
Still, the timing for that glitch to appear couldn't have been better timed, and now we get to experience the cursed image of Kris tearing his very soul of his body while A Town Called Hometown plays in the background, I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe X'D

i also got the music glitch at the end (I dont remember what song though but it was so loud and annoying that i quit and went through the city to the kris' house again)

it will be really interesting where it will go, I think its going to get a lot darker than Undertale, gotta start emotionally preparing

Reminds me of a comic I saw where the player says "wow I feel terrible" and Kris says "THEN WHY DID YOU DO THIS!" and the player responds "because I love suffering" and Kris attacks the player

I have a theory. If Kris can remove the player's control of him, why does he return the SOUL?
Maybe he can't survive without it? Maybe the world would reset by either the game's control or the player? If anything, one thing seems to be Clear...
To keep up appearances, WE control/are Kris. HE is the Knight.
Why can't Kris live without a soul?

I noticed you're using he/him for Kris, so I thought I'd point out that throughout the game, the characters _only_ ever refer to the character with they/them pronouns. Please keep that in mind! Non-binary rep is important. =>

@@christianlyttle8973 To be frank, I don't think I'm being controversial when I say that the entire point of Kris as a character is that you're _not_ meant to project yourself onto them. It would run counter to everything about what they are to Deltarune.

@@zetaniloticus dawg, kris is their own character with their own history, and clearly implied to be separate from the soul itself. Not to mention, there are past events in the spamton sweepstakes event which refer to kris with they/them pronouns. You aren't supposed to project onto them
