interesting fact about the color of Mina's acid: It's actually supposed to be purple (In every artwork Horikoshi draws he paints her acid purple, with shimering greens and yellows as the light reflect on it). The anime got the color wrong. Funnily enough, it seems like they finally made her acid more purple in this episode. Furthermore, the acid being purple makes some other things make more sense. One is the fact that it turns her pink. It's easy to see the connection between her pink skin color and the acid if it's purple. And the other thing is the design of Mina's hero outfit. To anyone that only knows of the, for lack of a better word, "semen" color the anime gave her acid, the purple blots all over her bodysuit probably seem random and just a terrible desing choice. But with the acid being purple, the outfits design makes so much sense. The pink blots over her bodysuit are meant to resemble acid splashes.
@@dan_mnght I think they didn't have any reference yet at that point. If you look at some of the earlier MHA merchandise (like card games and such) you see that Mina's acid is depicted with the anime color. After Horikoshi begun drawing artwork with her acid as purple, then other forms of MHA media begun using the correct color (for example, in My Hero One's Justice 2 Mina has purple acid).
This really is how you do a war arc in my opinion. Insane back and forths, while still holding onto a strong sense of progression in the general story. Even then, we have seen AfO die multiple times here during the war arc, were it not for Eri/the erasure bullets he'd be both figuratively and *literally* cooked. We are outright shown that he's not as invincible nor as all-knowing as he likes to project himself
