I started shifting wayyyyy before shifttok. I was a kid when I started shifting I think some time between 2014-2016(?sorry it was a long time ago). Nobody told me about shifting I don’t remember how I figured it out. My parents just thought I had an overactive imagination lol. Basically, I would decide I wanted to “go to another world” and to do that I’d decide where I wanted to go, cover my eyes, and visualize until I shifted there. No script, no shifting knowledge, just vibes. I stopped because my parents said I was “daydreaming too much” and needed to cut it out and be a normal kid 😭 I didn’t want them to keep scolding me so I stopped. I didn’t know the term “reality shifting” but I knew I wasn’t daydreaming or sleeping. I’d shift for a bit then shift back and my OR self would be in the middle of doing something most of the time. I’d shift back and just pause whatever I’m doing to try to ground myself back in my OR then go about my day knowing I could shift again whenever I wanted. It was lots of fun and I tried to teach my friends how to do it, but I don’t remember any of them being successful. Unfortunately, I’m not nearly as good at shifting now as I was when I was a kid. I’ve shifted only a few times since I rediscovered shifting in May 2023. I shifted the night I discovered it again, but it was a genuinely terrifying experience because I shifted to Gravity Falls without a script and was chased in the woods by a monster LMAOO. I’ve had a few mini shifts too. I’ve been so busy lately though I haven’t had the time or energy to focus on shifting and honestly I sort of feel like I need to be in this reality right now. Like I need to get my shit together here before shifting again and that’s okay. Shifting is a skill and it does require time and energy to script and attempt a shift. Let yourself rest if you need to.
SHIFTING WITHOUT REALIZING IT AT FIRST ISNT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH! One time I accidentally shifted to a slightly different reality than intended. I accidentally shifted way too far into the future of that DR but I decided to hang out anyways. At first, I woke up and I was super groggy. It took a while for me to pause and say “Wait….” because a lot was happening in my DR and I was super sleepy but it was 100% real. It was when the grogginess went away that I realized which is fair enough because when I’m tired even in this reality I’m not 100% here. I remember every time I went to sleep I was a little nervous I’d accidentally shift back to my OR in my sleep lol. I chose to shift back to my OR after a few weeks in my DR because I wanted to shift somewhere else instead.

i love how open you guys are! looking into the shifting theories has definitely created a blockage for me i think lol. im extremely interested in permashifting to a better cr but the consciousness theory kind of negates the existence of permashifting? idk! i havent shifted yet so im not sure what theory i believe yet but we’ll see eventually! ty for sharing 💗
I have always had a question, why do people who discuss Reality Shifting always mention worlds like Hogwarts and Marvel? Why haven't I heard anyone mention worlds like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, Civilization 6, The Sims, and Battlefield 4?
We actually have a Sims reality that we talk about in a later episode! I haven't heard of any of the others on that list though. My guess is people probably mostly talk about Shifting to super popular fictional places like Hogwarts simply because more people have heard of them, and therefore there are more people trying to Shift there. But between the two of us, Hannah and I have quite a few less common DRs, (including some really obscure ones like Elfquest), that we're going to get deeper into in Season 3! -Artemis
