Hey, first I have to say thanks for all your help. I stumbled on your Hajj videos from last year because I am hoping to go this year Insha'Allah but am so confused. I intend to go with my parents and am trying to sort it out. If you can please, my 1st question is if you have selected a preference between shifting or non- shifting, luxury, premium or standard, once the packages are released do you only see those applicable to your preference and are not then able to see any others? Or can you change between the diff categories? I cant decide on non-shifting or shifting and what is ultimately the best option for my parents. My 2nd question is once the packages are released, is it a case of booking straightaway or is there a specific date for instance when you can then book what you have selected. 3rd, do you have a guide with you or at least is someone sort of directing you specific to you group? Any help on these would be much appreciated thanks!

Many rituals in Islam is related to Rituals associated with Hinduism. For example, circumambulation is a common practice in both Hinduism and Islam. In Hinduism, it involves walking around a deity, murti (statue) or other sacred object clockwise, often 7 or 9 times. In Islam, circumambulation of the Kaaba is performed seven times, starting and ending at Hajar al-Aswad, the black stone embedded in the eastern corner of the Kaaba. Similarly, wearing the black hijab, a head covering similar to the Goonghat in Hinduism, has parallels in Islam. While veiling is a cultural practice in Hinduism, it has become a religious requirement in Islam. The concept of holy water, like zam zam in Islam, is similar to Hindu prasad, where prasad is distributed to devotees after puja. Both receive blessings and develop a sense of community. The act of facing the Kaaba during prayer in Islam is similar to idolatry in Hinduism. While God is believed to be omnipresent, focusing on the Kabbah during prayer reflects a form of idolatry. Circulating the Kaaba during the Hajj is a central ritual, similar to the role of idols in Hinduism. Although there are similarities between Islamic practices and Hinduism, it is important to respect and understand the nuances of each religion and culture. Respect and understanding of all religions and cultures is important to promote unity and peace.

Salam Alaikoum Dr. Shahrukh, do you know how long does the verification stage typically take? It has been two weeks since I registered and it is still in this stage.
Also, do you know if there are restrictions on the allowed flight dates? I mean could it be possible that the flights to Saudi Arabia must be booked several days before Yaum Al-Tarwya and not allowed to be booked sooner?
Thank you for sharing the video.

re: Verification - there's no defined amount of time. Last year it was a slow process of first getting processed and then verified and then eventually accepted. We didn't get emails we just had to check. I think it took at least a month to 6 weeks tbh
I don't know of any restrictions. Last year some groups came 2 days before the beginning of Hajj and some came 2 weeks before to Saudi (started in Madinah).
Sorry I can't give clearer answers yet
