Screwfix currently (june 2024) sells a 'Titan' self propelled petrol lawn mower with a briggs engine for £199. I think its the same as the Mac Allister £254 that you're showing in this video but just re-branded.

That would take me years to mow my lawns. My old Mountfield is still going strong thanks to your videos!

Is Webb any good? I'm thinking of moving from a corded Bosch rotak that lasted me 10 years to a petrol mower. Been looking at the Webb petrol mowers that has a side exit for grass clippings and maybe a Bosch AdvancedRotak 750 corded. £200 - £300 budget. Im new to this petrol scene and dont know what the maintenance are, what engine to look for, how to store them away for next year like do u need to empty the fuel from the hose etc. Any information would be helpful, and what other brands shall i be looking at that are more reliable. Thanks

Have had a few Stiga machines, and they are excellent. Never needed parts. Some same as Mountfield models.

I liked this video. It was well thought out and you explained everything well. Do you have any adivce on a mower for a larger garden. 180' by 50' and the garden is on a incline. Thanks :)

Same here, bought a Mountfield mower from B&Q had it just five years looked after it engine failed needed new engine cost as much to repair as buying a new mower so that's what I did. B&Q again bought a McAllister self propelled 140 cc Briggs and Stratton mower. Don't agree with what this bloke says its easy to use runs far better than the previous Mountfield.

@ypres25011111 as an engineer for Mowers and do a fair bit in the shop, Stiga are quite often easier to get parts for, especially from companies such as GHS
