Each sailing ground has it’s advantages. I chose to live in Hudson to be near a body of water where the shoreline is less developed but … Lake St Louis is excellent with numerous yacht clubs, anchorages and interesting towns to visit! So Lac St Louis is definitely more urban with lovely views of Montreal on a clear day, clear water as opposed to the tea coloured water on the Ottawa and perhaps fewer occasions where water levels drop compared to the Ottawa because of the Saint Lawrence Seaway shipping. I enjoy sailing my Melonseed at both locations! ⛵️😀
