Yes, there are some promblems with equalization, too much bass, it all sounds kinda blurry and drums are too quiet - it's just a mastering stuff, but still, this guys want to make everything perfect and that's cool. It was fixed in their EP. Thou I have to admit, this version has an amazing reverb on vocals, too bad they removed it in EP version...
@@Ddragon173 Happened exactly the same to me but with a different band called Imindain, song "Black Water". Their demo version is SUPERB, but when they made their debut with full-album, it really destroyed the whole song, its strength on every aspect there is, including the vocal reverbs and its eerie colors... for me, of course. A matter of taste, that's all.
Guess we can't blame the bands. It's their own art, they have the right to do whatever they feel like it.
For some reason, the rusty demo versions of perfect songs like this always sound better to me
They are raw, honest, more touching

Here we are again, another drunk Sunday listening to some depressing music like they are not so known, but they are well deserved to be more known. Cairiss with only a demo and an EP they are still awesome.
I can not stop listening to this work, I really liked the female voice and the atmosphere of this song.

I remember many years ago at a goth club seeing a band I'd never heard of sing a song a bout being a vampire and then I thought oh dear goth, you have painted yourself into a corner with your own black paint and I think sometimes genres get like that, they become almost a caricature of what they once were, some black metal can be like that, just screechy screechy with wasp in a beer can guitars, just my opinion... THIS, THIS however, is wow... so fresh, so amazingly crystal clear, beautiful voice mixed with amazing music, well played, well played indeed. I will be looking out for more of your stuff very soon. I love it when I find a new singer or band that push things out a bit and you guys do that in spades! :-)

I just ran across Cairiss by chance. I just recently got the 'Fall' EP off of iTunes. I guess they are considered gothic post black metal, Black Gazel etc. Whatever the sub-genre assigned to them is I greatly approve. I am also a huge fan of the Beauty and the Beast Black/Death Gothic type sub-genre vocals. I would love to use their music in my next film. I like Cairiss a lot!
