Do you happen to know of any monitor that supports an open-gate video feed? I know that the Andycine T6 offers that, but with 450 nits, it's not usable outdoors.
@@MatthewDangyou I focus on small business interviews and about 50% of the time they also want a social media format. So, I mainly shoot in open-gate to minimize having to do separate shoots for social media format. I know some monitors don't support that open-gate video feed. Well, at least no one is really talking about that capability.
@@danielbarajasmedia Yeah I shoot in open gate with this monitor, I also used the Osee Lilmon 5 monitor which worked as well. Though my outputs might not be "true" open gate, but it still shows the the square image on the monitor with the sides blacked out. I will say the osee lilmon 5 which I was using for awhile just wasn't the most color accurate. But this Hollyland Monitor (though it is a wee pricey) is really color accurate and you can get a lot of settings out of it. I wirelessly connect this monitor to a 15 inch monitor for interviews and it works amazing!
I agree! But I will say on my “cinema rig” for the S5iiX I have been enjoying the screen space. But if you just put this on a normal top handle with no v mount set up it would be huge!!! But I connected and bought the PYRO S or something to connect up to my 15 inch directors monitor and that has been so nice and easy to connect up too
3G-SDI? Why Hollyland, why?

Depends on what specially you mean. Because I do shoot in open gate and it shows me what the open gate looks like on this monitor
