- Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Millionaire... a quiz show hosted by Chris Tarrant where contestants have to answer 15 General knowledge questions to win £1 Million.
Lovely vibe from this man and his daughter...and Chris Tarrant was such a kind, engaged host. 🥰Great episode!
Don’t you just love it when someone like Roger wins a huge amount of money!
Excellent!!! Also, Chris is by far my favourite host of the show.
Chris Tarrant so good
Questions seem to be weighted oddly in these early series. What is the currency of Bulgaria is a very easy “trivia” question that anyone moderately into quizzing would get instantly. Whereas the James Gillray question was fairly obscure.
Knowing the currencies of Europe should be common knowledge to everybody! Krona is the currency not only in Denmark, but in Norway, Iceland and my own country of Sweden as well. Koruna is the Czech Republic.
And it's not even like Bulgaria is half a world away for a Brit. An average contestant may very well have visited Bulgaria.
One point though, the difficulty of the game isn't just the difficulty of each question, it's the mix of questions. To go from vocabulary to US landmarks to art to currencies to animal science is a massive spread.
Yes, sometimes such incidents happen.
Whatever “should” be known, I’d bet only a single figure percentage know those currency facts you have described. Remember that the average adult reading age in the U.K is, and has fairly consistently been, 9. Google it. That’s why you can form public opinion by displaying lies providing its in big letters on a bus.
Easiest 500,000 question ever WTF 😅
Good Job Roger!!!!!
I've heard of a "speckled wood butteryfly" but theres no way I would have risked it based on that alone!
Great episode.
thanks for upload
For me the question number 14 was like "What, really?". Maybe, I am just very good at knowing currencies, but this seemed ridiculous. For an American it would be confusing, but for a smart British man it was far too easy.
Cupboard Love?! I would've been going home with nothing. Probably would have said couch love. Jfc...
It would be good if you mentioned the huge win in the title but didn't show the extent of the win in the thumbnail. I quite like watching an episode knowing they are going to be win big but not knowing how much, makes for a more intense watch!
Sure. That!s why I never read those kind of extra info. You should do the same.
It's a catch 22, if I don't show it, people don't watch it and if I do show it, people moan about it.
@@classicmillionaire Yeah that is understandable. All I can say is, if I see 'huge winner' or something similar in the title I will definitely watch regardless of the thumbnail. Just more exciting if you don't know how much they are going to win.
If that’s the contestant just after a haircut, I can’t imagine what he would have looked like before!
Meaowwww!
20:00 It wasn't long before Bulgaria converted to the Euro? 💶
maybe a year or so, im not sure if they instantly changed
Still no EU lol
Music too loud
£5,000,000
I think that one million is chump change.
Big win £500.000
This host is good. Jeremy is crap
You are crap not Jeremy
Easiest 500,000 question I've ever seen.
Tell me about it.
To quote Chris Tarrant himself: "They're only easy if you know the answer."
But yeah I agree. Even I knew that one and I have never been to Bulgaria lol
The $500,000 Pokémon question from the USA is even easier
@@glitchedbloodBut remember that Pokemon was brand new at the time. And the Lord of the Rings movie wasn't out yet, so you had to know Frodo from the book.
The risk of dropping from 250 to 32 is huge though.I saw it happen a couple of times.
