today in my flexibility stretching training class, teachers are helping my classmates and me to do the passive stretching training to improve our flexibility, this is important if you want to dance more elegantly. teachers asked me to lay down on the floor, inhale and exhale, then she gently stretch my legs to 180 degrees. this is ordinary flexibility stretching training for the professional dancer despite it is a little painful. so we have been told to shout it out when we feel the pain. because shouting can help we inhale and exhale, which can relax our tighten muscle, can reduce the pain, can let us stick to the end, and gain flexibility.

The students in the video are challenging to a higher level of flexibility, so the training of the teachers is more severe. calm down this couldn't count as abuse since the teachers were not touching them, they made themselves cry because those kids are just tired and in pain, but they did it them selves, if the teachers were going to far then that would have been abuse (most people don't think that tho😭)

@@aylinsasic That is true but I mean they are humans with brains, so they can have the instinct to run away, I've been through this, a lot of the children back then would get up and run away from the teachers. And their parents are not female dogs, their child could have just told them they don't want to go, but if they still get forced then that is another story. BTW is this comment supposed to be racist? @@aylinsasic The reason they don't run is that they know the pain is worth it (most likely) because when I was going through this, it didn't hurt too much if you just relaxed, I wasn't flexible so don't just say "well oh, you might just be flexible so you don't feel pain" I'm trying to be nice so keep in mind that I'm not trying to threaten you or say that you are 100% wrong

You're right, if it had been me in the instructor's place I would have done everything differently. 1) I would massage her legs and arms before each exercise. 2) Before each exercise I would have made her drink some fresh water and maybe even wet her forehead a little. 3) During an exercise if she had felt pain / started to cry I would have immediately stopped and reassured her 4) I would never have hurt her 5) I would have made her take breaks between exercises to let her recover 6) I would have been less hard and stiff with her
