It takes so long to schedule appointments to the vet in Hell because the vet Blitz goes to is in the Sloth Ring.
It’s also why both the staff were incompetent; the nurse not being able to read (kinda) and her being dumb, the doctor messing up their names and being overly nonchalant and careless.
It’s also why the city in the Sloth Ring looks so nice compared to some other rings we’ve seen, they’re too lazy to destroy it or cause chaos
Bill from King of the Hill would fit right in.

Fun fact Edward Bosco also voiced Alastor in the Hazbin Hotel pilot, he also played the voices of the succubus bouncer in episode 7 and Millie’s dad in episode 5. This guy has so much range and I’m so glad he’s the new voice for Striker.
Not crazy about his take on Striker, I know it's not fair to compare him to Reedis but I wish that he had went a little less gravelly.
I don't think that he's a replacement for Reedus, but i think he was just a hold in for when Norman is busy
Apparently Ed was also the party guy in episode 3 who had just vomited and asked Blitz if he was a leprechaun.
In Stryker's debut episode, he already had his hands on holy/blessed weaponry. Whenever the angels finished an extermination, they would just lazily leave behind their weapons. So demons gather up the weapons and started selling them in the black market
i mean.... they prolly do that on purpose. why would they care if demons had demon killing weapons?
Vaggie’s spear seems to be an angelic weapon too
I'm surprised the Big G never call them out on that.
@@Spikero2 Demons dying wouldnt really concern him. I bet they can't harm Angels, it'll be like trying to drown a fish. Just like how fire doesnt hurt demons, I'm guessing those weapons are made from pure light and blessings, which they must be used to in heaven.
"Aren't you supposed to be protecting him?" That was a "one-time thing that we did badly" and it was just Stolas wanting Blitz around so he could flirt with him, lol.

During this episode’s production Erica Lindbeck was on a grieving period because her fiancé Billy Kametz died which is why Loona had no lines.
That is true but loona was scripted with no lines a show not tell deal
When you count flower petals and you say he loves me he loves me not. The first one drops when he gets the text 'he loves me' the next one when blitz doesn't text back 'he loves me not'. Final one to drop that we see on screen would be he loves me not. Idk if that's what they meant for these but I like it.
There are alot of those Flowerpots in Stolas Bedroom. Maybe every Blossoms will fall until the Last One would maybe say that would rather Blitz loves him or not
@@Ymiriron you know that can be plausible, maybe by the next episode almost all the petals will wither, thus the cycle of "he loves me, he loves me not" continues until the very last petal. But again, none of that probably doesn't even has a purpose but I'd like to believe that.
I like to think of the flower petals like the rose in Beauty and the Beast. Stolas’s time is running out. He came this close to dying in this episode I feel like he might actually die in a very close future episode. And Blitz is running out of time to say i love you to Stolas.
Looks like the Stolitz ship is about to get struck down by a barrage of cannonballs…
Loona's VA Erica Lindbeck who did the voice of Futaba Sakura in Persona was engaged to Billy Kametz who VA Takuto Maruki in Persona royal and did Roman Torchwick for RWBY during vol 9, anyway she probably took some time off to grieve while this episode was being done.
This i think is my favorite episode of season 2 so far.
Also much as i ship Blitzø and Stolas, where they are right now is so sad and toxic. Blitzø's almost drunk texts are cute and sweet, but also he's keeping Stolas at arms length, meanwhile Stolas is trying too hard to please him to the point of hurting himself. But Blitzø does care and now with him seeing Stolas as almost more "human"/mortal with the idea of him able to get hurt, im hoping this leads to Blitzø working to getting closer and not him running farther away.
I really enjoyed team M&M this episode. Moxxie standing up for himself against those jerks at the gas station, and then how well they fought against Striker. He made them work for it, but they still won that fight in the end driving him away, and loved that. Was such a great fight, to great music.
I wasn't too interested in all the vet stuff, or jokes, but i did love Loona acting like a scared dog at the vet. Was cute and adorable, and did have some good laughs. Especially her in the cone at the end.
Striker's new VA i never even noticed, or even realized there was a recast till i saw reactions online. I did notice they felt to double down on his western speak, and really enjoyed him feeling even more like a cowboy.
Also yeah they confirmed this episode will be the first with captions, and from here on out all future episodes will have captions and they will work their way backwards to make sure all past episodes get them too. And like i dont find myself needing captions too often, least with this show, but know many need them to enjoy things so im glad they are FINALLY getting around to them.
All demons are weak to holy/blessed objects, event the most powerful demons are weak to them. Lucifer, still being an archangel, still has all of his holy powers, and him being the second most powerful being in the universe (second only to God), makes him the absolute ruler of Hell
Stolas is only alive now because Stella called off the hit on him, not because she likes him or anything, but so that her brother can slowly take away Stolas' riches, duty, and power. Have fun with that fact lol
the situation with the voice actor for Luna is that her fiance or husband (can't remember which specifically) passed away. so she is grieving right now, that why Luna hasn't had a voice in recent episodes.
Calxiyn and Hunter you guys are the best duo ever
I just realized at the end, when Loona and Blitz were walking out of the hospital, Loona had a sucker😂

This is concerning for me. Heavenly weapons in possession of demon bounty hunters? Blitzø realizing that demons aren’t immortal and invincible by seeing Stolas all hurt?
This makes me worried for even Hazbin Hotel. Charlie…😢

Sounds more like highly illegal weapons trade, like theres a black market in Hell for angelic weaponry. But yeah, Royal Demons like Stolas can only be harmed by angelic weaponry. Plus Blitz seems to have known Stolas would be in pretty bad trouble considering Striker is involved, but he probably way underestimated just how much damage he caused!
Charlie is immune to blessed weapons, just like Lucifer. Or at least, she should be. Lucifer is still, like, some kind of fallen arch angel and charlie is part angel. I believe it was confirmed they both have angel wings that they keep hidden, bit I'm not sure

This is probably my favorite Season 2 episode so far!
Just to let you guys know, The reason why Loona was silent throughout both episodes is because her voice actors fiance passed during the time of recording.

I heard somewhere that is cannon that blitz is bad at spelling. I find it weird that he spelled a few words on the episode correctly, but I imagine it might be because he been preparing for it for a few years since he booked the appointment.
GEE WIZZ THE HUNTER SHOW
Georgina Leahy has honestly become one of my favorite voice actors in this show as Stella. She brings such a menacing and evil vibe to the character yet also one that’s extremely hilarious with how petty she is. I love all the voice actors in this show but she might be in my top 3 favorites now alongside Bryce Pinkham as Stolas and Vivian Nixon as Millie.
Watching anime and reading manga is always so exhilarating..

Blitz's misspellings isn't that he is not caring, he is literally just really bad at spelling. as far as we know, he never went to any sort of school and was raised solely to be a circus clown. it's shown on a lot of different texts in the series, as well as on their instagram accounts, that Blitz can't spell. he may also be a bit dyslexic, and when I was still learning how to spell, I spelt very similarly to Blitz.
It's also likely, he clearly does care, otherwise he would have never been hurt in the season 1 finale or seen Stolas disappearing during his acid trip. I feel like at this point, Blitz probably is attracted to Stolas and does like him but it's largely overshadowed by the fact that he thought up until that point that Stolas is a just someone who sees him as a toy. It's basically mirroring Verosika where he thought Verosika would leave him, so he started acting like a douchebag, or with Fizz, where he thought Fizz never wanted to see him again, so he actively starting be an ass to him and once they made up, he started being pleasant again.

i dont think it is so much he dosnt care in his text, you have to remember he is a lower class and raised in a circus by a dad that didnt care so literacy is going to be poor at best but if you look through the episodes he demonstrates a lack of literacy, i think his expression shows that he really does care,

What really hurts is part of why Blitz is so short in text is probably his inability to spell/write. He seems to tend to draw stuff instead of writing a large amount, like his plan in Spring Broken, and when they do show his writing it seems pretty common for there to be a lot of mistakes. Whether it's a result of him being dyslexic (possible since he's pretty on the ball spelling out loud), or poor schooling due to growing up poor and in showbiz (which kinda seems hinted at given how he expresses resentment toward Moxxie for being "privileged" specifically because he's verbose/articulate), or both it doesn't seem to be due to a lack of caring. They show his texts with Millie too in Seeing Stars and he's the same way, though seemingly more comfortable bc Millie keeps her answers pretty similar, concise and using shorthand. The way Stolas texts probably makes him pretty insecure about his own writing ability, leading to him being particularly curt in text. That and clearly Blitz isn't even sure where he stands with Stolas as it is and becomes more distant with him the more he overthinks their interactions when they're talking in person, so texting is probably a nightmare.
Mild spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen up to 2x06 before watching this. This also kind of explains why Blitz later assumes Stolas is being fake when he shows concern or interest in him as a person, because when they talk in person or on the phone and he expresses when things make him uncomfortable or he's not available, it usually goes completely ignored in favor of what Stolas himself wants, while in text Stolas is more hesitant and considerate since his thirstiness can't get the better of him as easily. Blitz probably just reads it as Stolas being wishywashy about what he wants at best, and probably even reads the worst into Stolas' messages given how much he hates himself and how self destructive he has a tendency to be.
The thing you mentioned about RWBY’s costumes reminds me of something I learned from an X-Men podcast, that comics used to be filled with artists who were fashion experts because the advertising industry used to depend on them to draw ads, and nowadays people aren’t taught to draw clothes so everyone has a smaller wardrobe of outfits and costumes in superhero books
