Just came from that video from 10 months ago where thy played Holy Wars on Sirius XM. I hated seeing my man Dave struggle to sing like that. So proud of him seeing him rock it again.
They guy that got kicked out of a famous band for bing a drunk, then started his own band so he could fire people from his own band and kick drunks out of his own concerts. Oh the irony. Even so he was right to do it.
I don't get all the hate against people who are "under the influence" or "drunk". A drunk person is obviously not going to be behaving in the way they would if they weren't, its cowardly to pick on someone when they're vulnerable like this. And I'm sure fucking Dave had more than his fair share of being drunk a few thousand times or so at some point in his existence. He's acting as if he is so innocent in being a drunkard. Hypocrite! 🤣
Lmao, I'm not even sure if the guy was drunk. He was some young 19 year old that was like the biggest fan there. He arranged the moshpit with his friends and they were respectful and didn't force you to join. They also knew all the lyrics it seemed. I only saw him get hoisted on to his buddy's shoulders asking Dave if he could play and then after that they were too far away for me to hear what was going on.
MegaDave is a deeply insecure man. He simply couldn't lose face to some nobody in the audience. His ego is so amazingly inflated. You can only imagine the mess inside that dudes head. Still salty about decades old childhood drama. He probably still holds a grunge against the fat kid who gave him a wedgie in junior school
Honestly i got the opposite reaction from this, i was there close to front row and Dave was clearly having a great time with the crowd being really active with mosh pits and everything, Dave being pissed off is what we love about him as Megadeth fans, thanks to that interaction with the drunk guy we got something super memorable that we all laughed about. the fact it was the cousins fucking line was even better as we all have seen the video of him saying it decades ago and it shows that Dave is still the same ol Dave.
