Kep1er is a girl group and it was formed through Mnet's "GIRLS PLANET 999". The group is composed of 9 members : Yujin (Leader), Mashiro (Co-leader), Dayeon, Youngeun, Chaehyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Yeseo (Maknae), Hikaru and Xiaoting.
They debuted in 2022 with 'WA DA DA' M/V ("FIRST IMPACT" Mini Album).

For those who don't know, Kep1er's concept has always been that they're traveling between planets and connecting with Kep1ians through their different and distinct releases. That's why they've been switching concepts and genres so often between releases. This was established vaguely throughout their releases, and explicitly in a video that plays before their performances of their subunit songs "Tropical Light" & "Tape" for their Strange Market fanmeeting.
Personally, as a Kep1ian since Girls Planet, I really dislike this way of establishing the lore as I feel it should've been explained before they debuted or at least around the time of their first comeback. But it is what it is. I'm writing this because I want to let people know that Kep1er was always meant to be a versatile group who explored many concepts and genres.
If only a lot of people know this. They just keep on saying they don't have a proper concept or sound when in fact if u hear a kep1 song ull recognize one

WakeOne is still in discussions with the group and their respective labels about doing a contract extension and its all positive which means it could happen
i love this song soooo much! the video is pretty, the choreography is fire, and they all look so beautiful too. i’ve loved all of kep1er’s releases, and this concept and sound suits them amazingly too ❤ they’re so talented and i’m glad that they all got to showcase that in this song!

Actually WakeOne, the group and their agencies are still having positive discussions of doing a contract extension so their still is hope
@@alejandrochairez5134 There isnt, they confirmed that they are disbanding on 3rd july bcs some of the member's agencies did not agree to contract extension
