Capping is part of the game mechanic to win, they even do it in the competitions. Throwing just makes you as bad as the others who went to die uselessly.
Checking weither Char had APCR or HEAT loaded and then immediately turning the hull almost sideways was just E-100 perfection. Rarely do you see someone understand this tank so well
This is why I love E100. It can troll mindlessly gold spamming players to the maximum. Just turn sideways and listen to the heat sheels shatter on the spaced armor. IS4 can do the same to a degree as well. My favourite is when they kinda stop and try to figure out whats going on, wiggle the gun around a bit and then keep shooting anyway.

This shows the importance of HE and why the HE nerf was great. HE is a tool. Not for general purpose spam. HE shouldn't be used by tanks like 60TP or 110E4 or E100 to spam, and do 300 damage a shot. HE should be an aimed shot for specified tasks like:: 2% HP tanks, to pen light armor, cap reset. And in this case, a 49 HP E100. While Skoda 56 guns aren't killing E100 49 HP with an HE shot, 2 may. 3 certainly will. And no question at all about 4. And the Char futur too? I understand perfectly, hitting E100 for 15-25 damage with HE is pathetic and people don't want to do it. But when the E100 has 49 HP.....15-25 damage isn't so pathetic anymore
@@demetrioshristovski4518 i have had a game torto (me) against 60tp on 17hp tortoise has pretty amazing HE as well. it was the two of us left on a one v one. me hiding right side of tank behind rocks and angling and him sidescraping. on cliff map, down at the low ground at about 200m distance. he couldnt pen me with heat and ran out (most probably) so he started shooting AP and HE. i managed to get him down to 17hp before he hid. that last 17 hp took 14 HE shots of no damage for the 15th to cause 1 fucking damage. i finally run out of HE and by pure luck penned him on the view port (if i remember correctly) neither of us wanted to leave our position to close the distance. HE is useless now. it was not a good nerf. i understand having e100/60tp/e3/e4 doing constant 300-400 by HE is annoying. ok nerf that. dont destroy all HE forever ffs. instead of nerfing to cause 100-250 so it doesnt make that much sense, now it does jack shit

Not trying to be mean, but don't let that detract from the truth in that you are not allowing fact to reign true, but instead are being trolled by fiction. 1) Tortoise doesn't have amazing HE. It has precise and ***high pen HE***. This means the velocity is good, it is accurate, and it has high pen for what HE normally is. But that aside, when its HE does not pen, the yield of the shell, its damage is very low. Especially low for late tier. This is opposite of something like OI, with an HE pen much less, but considerably more spall damage when no pen 2) Shooting tracks, gun, spaced armor with HE means nothing anymore. You can shoot it 100 times and do 0. Stop shooting spaced armor, decals, tracks, guns. HE should be shooting the tank hull itself. If shooting tracks, make sure its a light tank (and 60TP isn't a light) that the tracks are thin (and 60TP tracks are not thin) and that it is close ranged and perpendicular, not acute so you know the HE has good chance to pen through tracks and reach hull behind to deal damage. 3) There are hundreds of examples of HE working as intended now. MaxFPS has a sample testing, of HE shooting object 279E with Soviet 122mm, where he was doing 40~ damage frontally with HE. While this isn't, per se very useful, it shows us that it nevertheless is damage, against superheavy armor level. In Skill4ltu best of Oho 3rd marking video, you see him doing 40~ damage to side scrape 110E3 virtually impossible to damage with any AP/HEAT/APCR, but the HE nevertheless hits. Some damage better than no damage. 4) i can understand your view, i know it must be annoying for causal players in their tanks to no longer be able to spam HE. But this was bad for the game, and had to go. It still is a problem, but not as much a problem as before. The better you become at the game, the more you will realise how incorrect you are concerning this. Char futur played that horribly, he had a full magazine, 1300 hp and help nearby and he didn't flank E100. And you can't even say oh, he's just a new player because he's playing a reward tank.
He had enemies that were far from being smart, but he played it to perfection, showing excellent knowledge of the game and was able to deal with almost all of them because of how good he was. Btw, I really love these epic games recently, thanks for that
The reverse turret side scrape on the strv was soo good! He knew his weakpoint would get exposed to such a sniper, so he decided to get rid of his weakpoint, bounce a shot and take a final good aim on the enemy. Nice!
Why didn't anyone think about shooting HE? I know that you might do no damage from time to time because of the armor but if you do damage, then it should be enough with a few shots. And also, why didn't Char think of flanking the E100? It has a lot more mobility and can easily flank But other than that I have to admit that the E100 player is very good when it comes to using angles in order to bounce shots.
to be fair to the enemy team, props to the shrek tvp for just going to cap and confirming the victory for his useless team. edit* i have also shot at the planes just for laughs and to see if they will fall... potentially on enemies XD
My experience is that the gold amunition is sometimes less reliable than the standard one. Sure you NEED it to go against a fellow E100, MAUS or other big flat armour. But there is very often a shoot that would have gone trought the side or tracks with a standard AP that just do a 0 crit with the HEAT.
All of his enemies have had a lobotomy done to them but the way he angles his tank and baits the shots is incredible. Probably the best one I've ever seen. He has become one with his E 100 XD
E100 is my first tier X tank but this player play with it like absolute boss that angling is professional out of this world like Skill says GG win is deserved for this battle.
Depends on your caliber and HE pen. If you are playing E50M for example, it wouldn't really work, but that Skoda would've killed him if not from one, then 2 clips for sure
This is why I consider it still one of the best tier 10s. You just gota know your angles. And the big gun is best cause its all about the trades before angling again.
And because 330+ HEAT. Also when it comes to gun handling and accuracy the big gun isn't much worse than the small one. In fact from my experience the small gun is much less reliable.
This is my only Tier X tank as a new player, and I regret that decision. Half the shots penetrate to the turret. A couple of gold ammo and there will be no credits coming from that game if you happen to go back to the garage prematurely and you are broke as fuck.
I just hate E100 because super conqs loads instantly gold and your turret will get penetrated from left right and center no matter how you angle it. Its very frustrating...

WOT has a lot of dumb mofos, but this enemy team is the dumbest I've seen so far lol. Not a single one of them thought of shooting HE at him, rushed him one by one, but that STRV takes the crown of being the dumbest of all. I've been in such situations multiple times and all it would take was just one bounce before they quickly switch to HE and I'm dead in a few seconds😂

How do you check what ammo the enemy tank has loaded?
Skoda didn't missed the shots, he is shooting regular ammo which provides him 208 MM of pen, which is not enough to scratch the paint of the E100
