Lovely testimony. I admire Yuan's reading of the scriptural text, and the logic he uses. One thought: the opposite of every sin is "holiness" as he says in regards to homosexuality, but the way he says it, heterosexuality could also be "sin" if it stands above Jesus Christ. I like that. It makes all sexuality - whether queer or straight - "sin" if it holds primary identity over Jesus. This would be a good reminder to heterosexuals who seem to assume they are "safe" from sin because heterosexuality is "normative."

Chris, I think your rhetoric is incredibly damaging and negative. I know you won’t see this because you are brainwashed by your religion, but you are causing so much damage to the lives of young people.
His message is liberating. It can liberate you too. Homosexual activity is dangerous and it damages the human body I’m particularly referencing sodomy. But even for lesbians it is wrong because if our genitals and sexuality is ordered to procreation and generation then homosexuality is the negation of the natural order of our bodies and so it is a pathology and not good for human beings
Fascinating that he's from Louisville, but doesn't say it like a native. Not important, just interesting. I love that Mr. Yuan was convicted by the Holy Spirit/God, and was not swayed by the error of the jail chaplain giving false doctrine to him. The fact he is becoming a new creature in Christ is encouraging. Hopefully he will be able to be an example to many.
