@@kepnjem Yeah her hormones must be raging but because she doesn't have her foal yet she's not on high allert. I think if Blomke started to try to drink she may have gotten a kick.

@@IflieI'm not the world's greatest horse expert but I have lambed ewes outside. When a ewe is about to lamb it will try to "pinch" newborns from another ewe. I assume horses, being omnivores would be a bit similar?

I love seeing the Queen and what she was doing until she passed. Her interaction with Blomke was precious. Saly is such a good mom.

Uniek was the most special mare that I’ve ever seen. I’m so sorry she was not able to have another foall of her own. She was so full of love. It’s hard to believe that she is gone. Still brings tears to my eyes. And very thankful that Blumke didn’t get kicked. Kudos to Coralla for her gentle spirit.
Blomke is a feisty!! She’s had her very first adventure! Poor Saly must have been very worried. I suspect there’s a big personality in this little girl.
Nice to see the two Aunties respecting Saly while saying hello to Blomke. I think Coralle is a special lady. She acts bossy but knows when to let it go. Great video!

Just impressing how resectful Uniek is standing in front of Sally's and Blomke's box, turning her head aside, when she realizes Sally gets upset. Anyway, she could qickly touch noses with curious little Blomke! ❤
You’re not stupid Yvonne, sh*t happens in caring for horses. We after all are only human. Attests to the gentle mind that Coralle has.
Uniek showed impeccable demeanor towards both Saly and Blomke. Such a great horse, our Queen. She will live forever in my heart! And Coralle, such a nice behaved mare also, by not harming the naughty Blomke when she entered her box.
Uniek touching noses with Blomke, how sweet! Perhaps it is her way of giving little Blomke her blessing and welcoming her to the herd!

Saly looked so worried! I can only imagine the stress she was under when Blomke was in another stall. When she was returned, Saly stayed practically glued to her foal. I can imagine she was reprimanding her for such a stunt!

I've noticed that Blomke is a brave, energetic little girl. I think she will be a lot of fun! Glad she is OK and that Corale was so sweet to her.
Yvonne, please do not be so hard on yourself. We all forget from time to time as we are getting older and sometimes our brian wires messages differently.
Thankfully Bauke, your husband helped you early in the morning. So grateful you, Bauke, the horses and baby Blomke are safe and no issues happened. I hope you are well. I know you may have hard moments missing Queen Uniek..but do know you will always have support far and wide.❤❤❤❤
I am so, so happy that beautiful Uniek lived long enough to see her baby. Also that Coralle is such a wonderful, kind mare. She will raise Uniek's foal like a great mem, for both herself and Uniek.

It was so nice seeing Uniek saying "hello" to her herd members. So stoic and majestic, and respectful of their boundaries! WOW, Blomke is amazing - it's one thing to jump out of the stall, but to jump into another one. It's so nice of Corella to be careful with the rambunctious foal. Goedzo Corella!!! But then I'm surprised Blomke didn't at least jump back out. She is a silly one. I'm surprised Saly didn't freak out and scream... maybe she did, we just couldn't hear her? Poor Saly trying to keep Blomke under her control. She's going to be a handful, like Wunder.
Oh me thinks little Blomke is gonna be more of a handful 😂 Wunder never escaped from his box to go on dangerous adventures 😂😂
@dfb8854 Wunder did keep going up to Reintje, then Saly would get angry at Reintje and chase her away. And Wunder would go right back to Reintje. 😅 Hopefully, little Belle and Blomke will keep each other entertained.

Naughty Blomke. It seems all the foals born at Stall H is extremely clever. Very proud of Coralle for being so gentle & sweet. She's going to be a good mom. Also so cute seeing Uniek being curious & wanting to meet little Blomke, but also very respectful of keeping her distance.
They have more, earlier, socialising at Stal Horjus, which, being a much bigger, busier stable, was not always possible at Goengamieden....
As we see, it can make a great difference!

What a relief that nothing happened to Blomke while she was on her little adventure. What a precocious filly to escape her stall and jump into another! It could have gone very wrong, but I think this will be a funny story to tell one day, about Blomke the little escape artist.

I know many of The Herd won't agree with me but, for Yvonne, Uniek was such a big presence in her stable. I'm not at all surprised Yvonne's emotion is that she's gone. The fairy tale has lost its fairy Queen, and Yvonne is still in grief and mourning, and we should not deny her the space to work through those feelings. I'm recently bereaved myself, and it takes time for the world to come back into focus again, emotionally. Yvonne, we grieve with you. 🫂

Watching Queen Uniek and Blomke nose to nose is just so wonderful. Your horses are so well taken care of that they pass the love back and forth. Even Coralle deals with Blomke in her stall without getting angry with her. Sending my love to you Yvonnte from Ohio. Take care and stay safe.

Oh my goodness Coralle is such a good girl!! I’m going to be honest my heart was in my throat when I realized B had gone into bunk with Coralle but what a relief it ended well. The little imp just thought that Coralle needed an early baby fix Houdini 2.0🙈🤭
Coralle did raise a hind foot a couple of times when Blomke went behind her, but fortunately held off on kicking. Phew! Good girl, Coralle.
I love seeing Uniek yet. If only we all had so many videos of our beloved animals who have crossed the rainbow bridge. The videos bring so much comfort remembering the good times.

Saly has a foal who is headstrong and hugely curious! Wicked in the way of all babies who just want to see ALL the world and all the neighbors and do it their own way. Thank goodness Coralle was an immediate neighbor of Saly & Blomke where Saly could see Blomke was safe(ish). If Blomke had made any scared or hurt sound Saly would have tried to destroy everything to save her. This just shows how kind and patient Coralle is. And we all thought Willem was a handful of trouble! He NEVER escaped from Mom like Blomke! And don't say you are stupid to leave out the front panel. You never had a foal WHO WANTED to ESCAPE FROM MOM!
I'm just happy to be able to watch Queen👑Uniac on video, she was lovely and I can watch her again and again. I'm glad Blomke's adventure was great as no one was seriously injured.👏💓🍀
