“Formed in the depths of the covid-19 pandemic in the wilds of northeast Huddersfield, Post-Pollination are Henry McPherson (UK), Maria Sappho (USA), and Colin Frank (CA). As improviser/composer/instrument-builder hybrids, the group advocates trans-species improvised noise (and not-noise) for wellbeing, joy, and collective creativity. On 8th August, in their first trio outing since 2020, they will present: burbles, skrinkles, clomps, crash (!), wubwubwub, pewwww, crknckrncr, boinggg, and grgrgrgrgr through the medium of percussion, electromagnetic resonance, prepared autoharp, recorders, duck call, viola, and other agential objects.”
