Dad was a member of several choirs for decades. I didn't appreciate the music as a child when he'd bring us along to a performance. But this struck a chord and stuck in my mind. He passed away last year and this brings back memories 💕
There are only 7 notes, and it's amazing what can be done with those 7 notes when someone puts their musical creativity to work. It's incredible what Verdi, Mozart, Vivaldi, Strauss, Schubert, Bizet, Liszt, Handel, Bach, Ziehrer, Wagner, Beethoven, Hayden, Barber, Rossini, Kabalevski, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Stravinsky, and other composers did with just a few musical notes. There is a magic to simplicity.
@rileynavra Yes, 12 notes is correct, including the sharps or flats. I just say 7 notes just to sound simple. Not everyone knows music theory. Thanks for your reply, and glad to hear from you.

Always gives me goosebumps 😊❤
One of the most enthralling, elevating and iconic pieces of music, ever.
Extraordinarily Beautiful 👍❤️💙💜
My late wife's favourite. It was played at her funeral, 19 years ago. Still resonates.
Stunning

There are 12 notes, but I completely agree with you.
