  • In July of 2021 we spent four days hiking the Fundy Footpath. This is some footage I put together to document the trip. We went from Fundy Park Trailway to Point Wolf in Fundy National Park. On paper it’s document around 54Km but my All Trails app tracked:
    Length: 64.7 Km
    Elevation gain: 3,324m
    Moving time: 30.5 hours
    Avg pace: 28.11 Km/hr
You can get your own guide at:

Please do your own research before attempting this trail. I would highly recommend not taking more and 30lbs on your back if possible!!!

You missed the food hanging spot at Wolfe Creeke! Just a bit further up the hills they have sets of cables all set up for yah!
Also another good tip is to bring a small bags to put a rock in to assist in throwing your line when you are manually hanging :)

That is my main reason for watching this, to learn tips. Thanks. That's a good one.

Ay yi, yi. That looks treacherous to say the least 19:59 I have had similar moments. Took a wrong turn on one of the Fundy Park trails years ago, in the 90s, and ended up on a very difficult part with just space for one foot at a time and a death plunge to the side. I thought about it a long time before I continued. I had the same thought. "Are they serious?' But I was just on a day trip and not burdened like you were.

Congrats on your FFP hike! Definitely not a trail for the faint of heart (or knee or back). Thanks for sharing your lessons learned about hanging food (and garbage), water crossings, tent siting & more. No doubt you were excited to see the rain clear at end of day 2. As you noted, the views from sea level or ridge top are spectacular. I solo hiked the FFP in July 2021 & plan to return with a small group this summer.

Great video ! Looks like you had a great hike. I love the footpath and it’s a staple hike that I do annually early on in the season. Thanks for motivation boost to help get us through the last stretch of winter 😉
    Happy Hiking 🥾

Good job. I did it in the other direction the year before so it was fun comparing the two hikes. I liked the reminiscing from the comfort of the living room overlapped onto the hike. Never really thought of speeding up the video over long trail sections where there was no dialogue. You had more rain then we did and we dragged our trip out an extra day. What were you using for a camera?
