Looking back it was pretty good. I'm very happy to have pulled a Martos sketch, his work in the set is top tier.

Spidey Hits crushed it on the first box, but those 2nd and 3rd were tough. The variance can be brutal. I will definitely enjoy the Nova, thanks for checking out the video!

I started paying attention to his stuff after I pulled the Nova, and he does amazing work.
Im very tempted to also buy 1 of these now….there is potential in these tins!😁nice vid Mark.
It's a neat set if you like sketches. If you have the time I recommend checking out some openings so you can see the range of what is possible.

I opened 3 tins. Haven't opened the packs yet but all 3 of my sketches weren't as colorful as your 1. Got 2, 2panel and 1, 3 panel. The 2 panels were Gwen and the other groot and rocket. Both nicely done.
The 3 panel is sentry, which was more colorful but still not like yours. However work was very nice.
We'll see what packs look like tomorrow night when son comes home from college.

On the Cyclops is that a print line going horizontal across his visor or part of the artwork? I would be very upset if any card in a set this expensive had defects. These are so nice I wish DC had some premium sets like this!
I believe it's part of the artwork, like a perpendicular lighting effect coming out of both sides of the visor. The surface looks pretty good, but there is a lot of edge chipping which has been a common problem on the recent thick stock sets. The Magneto insert edges are much cleaner than the base parallels.
I hope we see a premium DC set, I would love one.
Nice tin, sketch of Nova way too good. MM22 took my bank 😂. I for sure won't be getting these. I'll just buy the iron man base single 😅 and call it good. My LCC is selling for 650 😢. Rather get another box of MM22

I just preordered one of each SKU, and have several boxes coming from end of season rewards. I went ahead and purchased one of each box in case it takes a while for the rewards boxes to ship out.

I just saw Daredevil got scrapped and they are starting over 😢 Sounds like it was for the best though.
The video title says 2023, but the box says 2021. Is this normal with Upper Deck Marvel?
Often things are off by a year, but being off by 2 years is a little unusual. The confusing part is that most of the time the sets end up going by the original planned and printed date, but some like this one go by the release date.
This new premier set is referred to as 2023 despite the tin and cardstock saying 2021. The recent Dan dos Santos Marvel Masterpieces is mostly referred to as 2022 Marvel Masterpieces, but came out in 2023 and some sites do refer to it as 2023.
