Have you ever wondered how your heart efficiently supplies your body with oxygen and nutrients? It's all about cardiac output. But that's not all, there are two factors that determine cardiac output - heart rate and stroke volume.
In this video, we'll take a deep dive into the exciting world of cardiac output, heart rate, and stroke volume. We'll explore how these factors work together to keep your heart pumping strong, and how exercise will increase your cardiac output. You'll learn how the autonomic nervous system controls heart rate. We'll also reveal the secrets behind why athletes tend to have more efficient hearts and uncover the impact of conditions like hypertension on stroke volume.
By the end of this video, you'll have a newfound appreciation for how your heart keeps you going strong. So, let's pump up your heart knowledge and get to the heart of the matter!

Blood flow through the heart test was more challenging than this test because the first two values presented can be blindly applied with stroke volume formula. I didn't really memorize what EDV and ESV are but I had intuition to subtract higher value by lower then last thing was to multiple SV result by beat rate. My suggestion would be to show optional cardiac output while doing something then on the test let calculate CO and choose if cardiac output is "in normal conditions". The idea probably doesn't make sense 😞. The video is giving good information though I learned something new, thanks.
