The wildest part about this game to me is that neither kha OR panth built serpent's fang. Sion, thresh, and trist all had shields, it would have had tons of value
That item is so underutilized. Reduces 100's of hp worth of shield, sometimes 1000's in just one fight.

@@NALogik the shield reduction is often misleading, if it doesn't lead to extra damage then it has no impact. like, if it hits a big sett W then the number goes up by 1K but sett still has 1K shield left which often times out before it gets broken. the stat we need is "additional damage due to shield reduction".

Its weird when people think like that. If you can 4v1 the enemy and die so can the 5th enemy 4v1 your team... Its equall.
@@DomenG33K One of them is a tank Sion whose build is specifically for that purpose, while the ones who 2v4d his team were just assassins with no particular specialization against multiple enemies at once (in fact one of them gets WEAKENED). That absolutely was a massive skill issue on his team's part.
There is no way you can just figure that stuff out. Every time his laner want to gank or help a fight and baus farmed there was butterfly effect from his laner. Its very hard to say who had more impact. Its like the jungled helping syndra mid twice early and if she gets kills and got resets the jungler can literally go afk farm and he has done his part since syndra can carry so damn hard... @@jacobnorris8256

Ive been going this build since forever without the shieldbash. But I usally go stereks as the last item. Its really good.

It's shitty item, because you get only hp and 2-3 shield will still be weaker than sterak shield (it doesn't scale with hp, only base+mana),while sterak also give you 60 extra ad.
This video already show how he get smashed by pantheon botrk in 1 vs 1.
Pantheon has Sunderer mythic passive for armor shred, % damage on sunderer, % dmg on bork (he still loses 1v1 tho), black cleaver armor pen (so black cleaver and sunderer can % dmg with true damage) + R passive giving even more armor shred.@@micha8701

I think the item is fine on engage supports (its pretty cheap, gives lots of health, and you won't run out of mana), but I don't think it would be good on this build. The shield is not very strong, especially on Sion (it is much better to go with shield items that scale with health, like Sterak's or Stoneplate). If you want to build it on a top laner, try it on Nasus. Building a Tear early on Nasus really helps with the Q stacking, and he can get the shield every time he uses Wither. The damage blocked by the shield will really add up over a match.
I think the item would be useful on more champs if the cooldown between shields wasn't 8 seconds, it feels way too long when every champ dies so quickly in the current meta.

lol i just played a game with this build before watching ur video and then u do it hahahhahaa but i bought heartsteel->sunfire->titanic hydra->hullbreaker->Sterak gage and i did 88k damage i had 500ad 12k hp and 300 armor and 200 magic resist i was really a finall boss

Shields are being slept on right now, there is no good direct counter. No one builds serpants fang, and shadowflame doesn't even directly affect shields.
