i had the switch 10 and i only kept it for just over a month and then i sold it on as the screen/keyboard was just to uncomfortable. I see in this model they have slightly improved the screen quality but that keyboard though as you said is just not good and for $550 thats pretty bad :/
Hey guys. Does someone experience the same problem with this convertible as me? My hdd from the keyboard dock always goes in sleep mode during copying/installing/video playback tasks. However the windows energy management was already tweaked to prevent hdd from the sleep mode - it is set to never. Anyony has the same problem? I am thinking about an ssd upgrade insetad of the hdd. Maybe it will fix the problem.

You are an MS fanclub member no doubt. This is the same price as a Surface 3 (without the keyboard). The question is who would by the Surface 3? It is not in competition with the SP4 which is for power users, FYI not every one is a power user, in fact 95% of users are not power users. The good part is that it is not like a brick compared to the Surface 3, as this is a tablet foremost. It looks fast enough for most simple tasks that tablet users need. One of the best two in ones as you get with a proper keyboard rather than a floppy Surface one that is pretty useless when used on your lap.
+amfrepo You make a valid point but there are many options out there that also run Windows 10 for way less. My local Walmart recently marked down the RCA Cambio 10.1 to $98. Yes, the Acer construction looks solid and yes, it does ship with a great processor but the price point seems a tad bit high. My reply to Barack is to hold off and before you know it, these will be available for $299 on Woot and other daily deals websites.

No, the core m in this Acer is last gen (Broadwell), the one in the SP4 is current gen (Skylake).
