I just discovered Dopethrone 2 days ago. I cannot stop listening to them. It's like if black sabbath and melvins has a kid it would be dopethrone.
Just saw them last night at a tiny venue, what a fucking show! They don’t have the blonde singer anymore and now the lead guitarist does all vocals which sounds great.
Might be the heaviest show I’ve seen in years. Absolute wall of sound

Julie is one intimidating girl. I was at their show a couple years back and they had like a meet and greet where we took photos. I stood next to her, double her size, shitting my pants. "Do I touch her? Fuck it, just act normal." She was halfway between punching me in the face or kissing me on the cheek, you just don't know. Performance was outstanding. My chest was pounding and ears ringing all the way to the home. AC/DC of sludge, you know what you're going to get and it's going to rock.

This is like diving from a 20 foot tall platform in to a pit of Dopethrone heaviness. And I recommend everyone do it.
